i think you are over minimize this mess. 50-60 missiles arent a slap. the whole thing will have conseguenses, and the weight will be more likely be observed in a few hours, and it will all be on syrians and its legitimate governant. russia, iraq and china wont stand still watching a strategic allied being bombed down from a country that has no legal right to do so. gotta be carefull for erdodog (willing to support an usa offensive operation) and USrael (who likes to send jets to bomb things at ranfom that are squashed by the syrian defense system) too.
