This would be great. I remember playing Captain Tsubasa. It was really fun, sadly I don't know any new and good sport RPGs. Blood Bowl isn't really that :D

Simulator Simulator.
Surgeon Simulator-like controls where you control the hands, which you use to press buttons on the in-game keyboard in order to control the simulator happening on your in-game computer screen.

LARPG + Tower Defense + Item Shop Reccatur. You have to wander back and forth thru a store trying to find one item, but you'll end up travelling about a mile while browsing thru everything. I call this game, Ikea.

Make a game in which you simply run through an office building and kill everyone, but you can't reload any weapons, so you have to throw them away (like literally throw). So the entire time people are running and shooting at you and you just have to keep dropping and switching guns the entire time and throwing guns and staplers and letter openers at people in order to scavenge your next 30 rounds of ammo. The game never stops. Do not implement a cover button and make everything destructible a la Red Faction.
There is also no plot whatsoever other than you are in a building and must escape somehow and people are attacking you.

Know your strengths and weaknesses. You are bad at making original ideas? Remember some good and fairly simple game from your childhood (a game that you still enjoy) and try to create a clone/remake/spriritual remake/faithful tribute to it. This should be a game you know really well and understand what makes it fun, so you can capitalize on the most successful aspects. Don't aim too high - e.g. make Dangerous Dave, not X-Com, but don't choose genre just because you think it's easy to program (for example we have tons of scrolling space shooters on Greenlight made by people who don't know and don't love scrolling shooters).
Sorry for not giving you more specific advices, but it's really up to you. You can make take a common genre and add a unique setting, or vice versa. It is pointless to recommend you to make a point-and-click adventure if you are fond of racing games.

I fail to see the difference, but my advice remains the same. Also , I found this pretty funny Game Idea Generator - give it a try, though I don't recommend to seriously rely on it.

An RPG where you have to find reptilians in the mountains.
Actually sounds legit. 10/10 would buy again. Thanks for Skyrim le

An FPS where you'd be a soldier during the war, BUTT, not the usual BS games tends to put us into, more like a support soldier, instead of a super rambo warrior who kills a whole army by himself ( even though I fucking love that too I have to admit :P I'm a brainless killer in most games :3 ). For example a field medic, who's got to go a rescue people, an engineer, that sort of things.

And you have to do it like in Suregon Simulator :)

Hat simulator? Oh wait there's TF2 for that.....
What about a pants stealing simulator? Oh yeah I forgot, DayZ already does that....
What about Dungeon Keeper? Seriously just do an updated version of that, don't pull the EA shenanigans and everyone will love you.

Copy pasting from one of my own posts:
Disaster Simulator is a pretty simple idea, but a very complex game.
The game is all about sandbox, free roam, open world, and of course, disasters.
You will start by selecting a starting location. Any location worldwide, like tropical island paradise, cities, forests, deserts... Then you will choose out of a vast array of disasters, including: Hurricane, flood, bombardment, zombie apocalypse, earthquake, volcano, tsunami, tornado, war, and many, MANY other. Or, you can simply set it as "Random", and face the unknown.
Then you can start playing. The game's events will be randomly generated, so you cannot know when or where to expect the disaster to happen. You must find shelter, weapons, or even food, depending on your difficulty settings. Then, it's neverending fun... Survive the zombie apocalypse, or find a boat to stay alive when the tsunami strikes, take cover underground in the dark metro lines...
You will also have the full control over the settings, options, and setups.
You may choose whether to need food and shelter, or not. You can also choose to be invincible, or to be a weakling. You can spawn with a full armory, or with only a rusty fork. You can also turn off disasters completely. The possibilities would be limitless, the world would be yours to shape.
And also, there's destruction. Lots of buildings crashing down, gas stations blowing up, and bridges falling into pieces.
Oh, and did I mention the possibility of throwing in co-op multiplayer online, or local? Also Massively multiplayer online, with thousands of players? :D
