The countdown to Avengers Endgame is on!
3 days and 4 hours, as of this posting, until the culmination of multiple films and years comes to theaters.

Did you get your tickets yet? I got mine. :P

I am SO looking forward to this one. And I will NOT look up ANYTHING on it. I do NOT want to see ANY fan theories anymore nor do I want spoilers.

So here's a small bribe for you to keep the spoilers out.

I'm so behind on the marvel avengers movies. I just saw captain marvel, but that was the first marvel movie I saw after 3 years of not watching any of them.

Heh, that's actually the only Marvel movie I've not seen. But there's been so many movies now, and they've gotten so complicated, I'm starting to forget details and characters. I feel like I need to watch them all again just to remember everything that happened and who everyone is.

Exactly! Even if I did watch them all, I'd have to re-watch them every now and again just to refresh myself. At work, they were betting on who dies in Game of Thrones, but the 50% of the names listed were unfamiliar to people so people had to look them up to see who they were XD

Yeah, I'm re-watching Game of Thrones now before watching the last season. It's been so long since I watched it, and longer yet since I've read the books, that there's a lot I've forgotten. While I probably remember the names, I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of the details and how they relate to one another.

I remember reading an article about how the most poignant moment in the previous Avengers movie is when Banner looks at Black Widow, and about how in that look the audience shared in all of the shared history that that they had across all the movies. And I had to laugh because I couldn't remember any of that shared history, and thus all I saw was one person briefly looking at another person, with no deeper meaning at all.

Eh, I'll wait a few months for it to show up on Netflix like the last one did.

(by the way, you accidentally used "{" instead of "[", so your link is broken).

Thanks for that.

And it won't be on Netflix as it's Disney and they said that no 2019 Marvel movie will be on Netflix.

Nope. I was honestly disappointed by the last Avengers movie - it was better than the previous one, but failed to reach the standard set by the first one, and the ending was so disappointing. There's no need for fan theories or spoilers, you already know basically what will happen in the next movie - everyone with a bit of common sense can figure out what will happen in the next movie. Marvel / Disney backed themselves into a corner with the previous film, and now they need to back themselves out again.

I'll see it eventually, but probably not before it's out on bluray / streaming.

Yeah I feel like it's going to be an hour of Emo Avengers crying over blah blah, then the most anti-climactic resolve of "hey let's just erase anything that happens in the last 30 mn of the previous movie" and then 20 mn of crying over Iron Man/Cap America (I'm pretty sure Cap is biting the bullet but it could be Stark because those Starks tend to have a limited life span ;) )

I'm not really excited about this one. I'm more waiting to see what the next Phase will bring and so far it seems they're taking new directions so fingers crossed and so long Avengers.

Now I'm just hoping they erase the embarrassment that is the FOX X-men franchise and start all over because the Xmen were always more my team. And there are brilliant arcs all over the X universe that beg to be on the big screen, NOT twisted into a knot to somehow pertain to Emo Xavier, Emo Magneto or Mystique (wtf?)

I'd rather watch Suicide Squad. Leto's performance as the Joker was great, too bad the character wasn't really well made and he got very little screen time to really take it anywhere. Also the Snyder Cut™ of Justice League will blow every competitor's movie to dust (when it's released). Don't @ me.

The first Suicide Squad was boring and the acting was the pits so I'm kinda glad James Gunn is on it but since they're rebooting (DCEU needs to be told to stop rebooting after every movie), I doubt anything will be left of the previous one.

I was kinda happy about Birds of Prey until I realized they twisted it to make it all about Margot Robbie. Meh.

Apparently it's releasing on Wednesday here but I don't really think I'll see it in theatres. Maybe in a couple of weeks depending on the buzz.

Spoiler Alert - I heard that Thanos trips on Howard the Duck and accidentally blows himself up when he tries to stop his fall with his gauntlet still on.

There hasn't been a Marvel movie (ones set in the same universe as The Avengers, that is) that I haven't liked so far. There have been a few I haven't seen yet, however.

No post credit scene this time, only a short audio when the Marvel logo appears. If I had known that, I wouldn't have waited. But it might save your time.

Other than that:
I liked it. No spoiling here. :p

I'll do like I do with every other movie- watch it on TV when they eventually show it on TV... if I don't have anything better to do at the time... maybe. If that fails there's always the inevitable CinemaSins video of it for an abridged version. :P

Just a heads up, in case you missed it, Endgame is not the FIRST movie in HISTORY to have a $1.2 BILLION dollar debut weekend!

That's literally DOUBLE what Infinity War made, which was $640 million.
