I haven't tried it, but I hear good things about Tommie Copper belts.

Ever tried motor-cycle stores? May be cheaper.
Edit: I just had a look at https://www.tommiecopper.com/men-s-comfort-back-brace and thought 70 bucks?

What were they, if I may ask?
I never had issues until I started working in an office. Combine that with gaming, and a herniated disc, and well I'm looking for anything that might work.

Well, JenniferVanessa, not sure I can help you with that, but I'm going to post a link to those exercises anyway.
Antocapone, sure, I wasn't sure if anyone needed them. Here they are: https://youtu.be/zfXbbxniqEQ
These exercises are the only thing that helped me! Also the tree yoga pose.

I second the exercises given by ms. anetbok.
I don't have that bad of injuries like yourself, but I do some core strengthening bodyweight exercises from which I feel very good and stopped recurring back-strains.
All combos were shown to me by a certified therapist.
I combine "Superman" with "YWT", "cat to cow" to "hands and knees balance", "Cobra with heels apart and heels stuck together" (toes are side-by-side, but your heels are moving; you will feel the difference) and finish with planks variations.
Hyperextensions and Reverse hyperextensions are a great way to progress with the lower back strength.
There are lots of videos and guides on the web. You can check them out ( =

Thanks!
I worked construction for 10 years, threw my back out then but the issues never crept up until years after I changed professions. I tried physical therapy, injections, not much really seems to work. I refuse to take pain pills, and back surgery is just not something I want to try atm.
It gets rough sometimes, as a former athlete with 3 kids I constantly overdo things and end up suffering for it. ^^

Might be worth asking your doctor? Even if they don't know about anything specific, they could potentially point you at a medical supply company that, e.g., they know physiotherapists nearby use.

Nah, my doctors are fucking incompetent and I'm not paying to see thier asses.

...right, sorry, I forgot doctors are a thing most of the world has to pay for. In that case... hmm. I expect you've already thought of this, but what about just buying one off amazon or whatever that has good user reviews? Where I am, at least, their customer service tends to be pretty good and not give me any trouble if something breaks months down the line and I want to return it.

I have a great back brace but it costs $920.00. It's by Summitt.

Does anyone know a good backbrace or backbrace/waisttrainer?
I've used the same shitty cheap brand for a while but they keep breaking, so I've decided to just get a decent quality one now, but don't know what's good.
