Yeah probably a bot. Last time I gave a bunch away I put work into so a bot couldn't snag them all up, but I was too lazy this time and I am just trying to clean out my emails.

If you put work in, just make a bunch of quick actual giveaways. That's the only way to give people a fair chance. Drops heavily favour the first person that enters the thread and spams activation on all the keys the fastest. By making actual giveaways, which honestly only take a few seconds to set up each, you pretty much guarantee that each person only wins once, and allow multiple people to win. Even if you make them flash giveaways (~1 hr) the odds are infinitely better for everyone than these threads where you've got to be insanely lucky to spot them within 10 seconds or everything's gone.

Generally works better to make the folks think, like substituting one character in the key with a variable, and then including the corresponding value after the key.
Takes a second of effort to put in the key but usually helps keep the people getting keys and the bots being dumb. Plus, :s/9TIT9/tehe/g

One guy on a forum said he had 28 steam accounts plus bots to grab as many keys as possible.
Obviously didn't have much of a life if he spent his time earning steam wallet pennies.
Each to his own i suppose ,it's not the steam accounts ,don't have an problem with that, but the thing that pisses most people off and me is the sneaky greed involved using bots that stops everyone else from participating in a key drop.
