Day 20 Part 2
Bird Park done, the rest of the day? Food!
First up, Hoo Kee Rice Dumpling in the Amoy Food Centre. Salted egg with chestnut. Oh yeah, that's some good stuff!

Next off to Maxwell Food Centre for the famous Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice. If only I had more time and stomach space, I would have walked next door to try Ah Tai Chicken Rice as well to compare! But alas, I needed to finish the soursop juice and the fried dumplings from Special Shanghai Tim Sum. Also bought a bunch of rambutan for dessert.

Probably one of the best food days in Singapore. Then again, I think every day was a great food day in general :P

I personally prefer langsat over rambutan.

I had rambutan from time to time when it's in season, but never found it particularly good or anything. It is kinda annoying that if you want to eat all the flesh, you are likely to peel and eat some of the seed's skin with it. Otherwise, you will have to leave some flesh on the seed.
