Humble Activision Bundle

I would have said the same about WB, Origin, and THQ....

People would have said the same thing about EA doing an Origin bundle, that also included steam keys for all applicable games, gave all revenue to charity, and included Dead Space 3 which is basically a brand new game, for $1.

PC players hate them now for the HORRIBLE port of Ghosts, after they publicly claimed dozens of times, that it would be "the definitive version" with tons of work put in, and that it would be the best COD PC port ever. Who knows, they may try to redeem their name on the rapidly growing PC market, because it worked for EA for the most part...

Oh wow. I've been kinda wanting to play through COD4 again but I've never seen it below 10 bucks. I might just hop on this. I loved that game.

You ask why it wouldn't be great. Activision seems to have some bad reputation recently, mostly because they mass release very similar games, which was the reason why we hated EA. A bundle focusing on COD series and adding some pretty similar stuff wouldn't change that picture AND playing old games on empty servers wouldn't make most CoD players happy.

A Bundle makes sense because you get games you wouldn't buy otherwise, and you can try them or gift them, and this way people can try and learn different games. A lot of COD games wouldn't make any sense for this purpose.

A Bundle where they combine CoD with a barbie game for girls, add some movie or comic based games for "little boys and more", Wolfeinstein and some poker or sports game they have, etc. would work as a bundle IF they would hope it will help them and if people would buy that bundle..
