Better or worse than Humble's Upload VR Showcase bundle?

View Results
[Buy] Humble allegedly has better games, but Fanatical has lower prices AND lets me pick.
[Have] I already bought whatever I needed from this bundle, and even have them nicely tagged in my library.
[Skip, no VR] Not having a VR set pays off: less money to spend on bundles!
[Skip] These games don't interest me. I'll just leave it at that.
[Expensive] Neither of these two bundles is worth picking up; they're way too expensive.

Notice: Audio Trip requires a virtual reality headset

Again a VR bundle!
My wallet is thankful I guess...

Games in the bundle that also support non-VR mode for those interested:
Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown
Tabletop Playground
+
Warplanes: WW1 Fighters (Requires VR even though it doesn't say so)
-> Non VR version alternatives by the same company for free
Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces and Warplanes: WW2 Dogfight

Just a heads up: A Knight in the Attic only supports Quest headsets right now even though it's on Steam. The developer said they are working on supporting additional headsets in the future but who knows if that'll ever happen.

Don't worry, and while some games are meh or ok, this bundle has nothing spectacular so you aren't missing much.

It's not a terribly bad deal for collectors because vr games are unreasonably expensive normally despite them again being nothing special, but otherwise it would be better to just buy a proper vr game regardless of it's price.

Audio Trip and Virtuoso are pretty cool, but I've not heard of most of the others. I'm hoping some of the games from that grossly expensive VR bundle in a recent bundlefest show up again for cheaper (like cyubeVR, etc)

the 2 warplanes and creed are worth it, audio trip maybe, the rest is basically shovelware

It's a damn shame the whole VR industry got set back another 15 years by Facebooks monopoly plans!

It started when Onward got downgraded to run on the measly Quest1 .... and from there it just went downhill. There's so many VR developers under the Meta banner now, and affordable headsets are again off the table. So sad really. VR gaming could´ve gone from niche to established around 2020 :E

I realize Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown is among the games! I have paid for this game on Steam mid-March 2023. 🙈 That was roughly twice the price it costs in this bundle. 😲 That is what one gets for not waiting for a bundle! For the record, VR is not mandatory.

Well, i like playing VR and stocking up my VR library. Just had 7 decent and some really interesting games in my cart.

Then i saw the price, oof. Way too expensive for that lineup. And not really bangers like A Fishermans Tale, I Expect you to Die and other strong VR titles.

Hope they will turn up again for an affordable price. Maybe on key reseller sites.

I totally agree with you regarding A Fisherman's Tale and I Expect You to Die. Fantastic games. But I also own and have played Creed:Rise to Glory, and both the Warplanes games, which are excellet immersive games. So those I can highly recommend. Boiling Steel and Walking Dead: Onslaught I have just tried a little and not liked.
For myself I am really considering Virtuoso and Audio Trip, who seem to be right up my alley. And since I really love Airmech Command, I will probably pick up Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown as my third option. We'll see. My AC in the car just failed so I might be a little short of money.
