Can I suggest that the forum needs a redo at some point, so that it resembles more normal forums? Like, with at least a few different sections so its easier to navigate and we have less repetitive "how does steamgifts work" threads, for example. One big page is kind of clusterf***, imho.

I'm curious about that too. Someone care to enlighten me?

Just look in the low 200's of the forum pages for the recently closed threads. You should be able to figure it out from there, took me less than a minute to find the related threads.

I just closed a thread with nearly four hundred comments. If I had actually wanted to waste my evening doing so, I likely would have banned 95% of the people posting in that thread. I do not. I refuse to even go past the first page of that nonsense. The thread's topic was something entirely unnecessary and could very well have warranted a suspension for re-opening a closed thread, regarding supposed misinformation about Steam accounts being shut (on that note, please do not spread misinformation, especially after being proven false). The comments were volatile on both sides. There was no-one in the right, and everyone was in the wrong. Keep things civil, please. If there is an issue with a specific user, take it up in private before it gets too far. Whatever happens, keep your cool and don't be a dick. We understand there's some people who get on your nerves and you'll lash out at them, but there is a line that can be crossed and a four hundred comment thread of people yelling at each other crossed it a long time ago.
Happy New Years, everyone. Don't drink and post.
