Can't decide what to play.. You guys decide! Turn based games.

Wasteland 2 because it looks incredible. Annoyed I missed it in whatever bundle it was.. Monthly I think! Out of those games its probably the most appealing to me at least!

Thats how i do it.

Install the 3 of then, play each for a hour or so. The one that hooks you most? Thats the one.

Or if you're having plenty of playtime and are like me (who barely have time to play but on vacation, like now) then you can just play all of then. Got tired of one go for the other. All at once. ALL THEN GAMES!!

still not played wasteland 2 either, have it since it was in monthly, but you have the nondirector cut on 20hours played, isnt it the same?

I only played Krai Mira for a bit less than an hour so I can't go into much detail on it. I think it should be fairly obvious that in order to make a great RPG of this sort you'd need bigger budget and more developers, so yeah the game indeed has some issues, but at this point I wouldn't say it's not worth giving a try either.

The game doesn't have character customization, nor can you rebind your keys (fortunately there aren't many of them, but I don't like the defaults). Small things like not being able to walk over puddles of water irk me, but they're not a huge issue I guess. One issue I didn't like is that when you're somewhere above ground level your action area isn't shown (not a big problem as you will remember how wide it is quickly) and the enemy I killed dropped through the bridge we were on into the water so I couldn't loot him.

Since I already mentioned looting, I dislike how you don't get items enemies use during fight. For example I fought an enemy who used a sledgehammer, I was immediately excited about the idea that I'll probably get his weapon after I kill him; and was rather disappointed when that sledgehammer wasn't on his dead body when I looted him. Some enemies will use fists to fight and after you kill them you find things like flamethrower or some other ranged or even melee weapon. I don't necessarily dislike that, since they didn't have ammo for those weapons on them it makes sense that they didn't use them I guess, but still...

Also at the moment exploration isn't as enjoyable as in say Fallout games, the game is also not open world so that's another negative thing in my opinion. I'm not going to drop the game yet, I'll keep playing it every now and then and see does it get better. After all I love isometric RPGs and games set in post-apocalyptic setting and we don't get much of either of those.

I think you should try Wasteland 2: DC first though, since it's more polished and it looks like gameplay is better. Not to mention it's made by experienced developers so it's bound to be better in many aspects. I'm hoping it'll be in another bundle soon so I can grab myself a copy.

If youre going to play only one game, play Wasteland 2. If youre going to play all three, start with Krai Mira, then Dead State, finaly Wasteland 2, thats how proggresively better the games are.
