i have no idea how the game is but meta score is 80 and the game is just 2 bucks.. you wouldn't even be sorry even if you just played it 1 hour and leave it right there.. just buy it, great discount.

Its a very good game but a very high learning curve, its still decently populated during the main gaming hours when people get home

I love it. The sides both have their own strategies so when you get bored of one you can try the other. You can always find a couple full servers.

I added funds to my wallet so i can buy keys to trade for this, and now i can't buy anything till the 6th.

FML. Why is this happening when i bought stuff before no problem?

Awesome game if you like deep FPS team-based multiplayer games that involve a lot of strategy and skill. One of the cool things is that the two sides are asymmetrical with respect to the way they play. As mentioned above the learning curve is a little steep just due to the sheer amount of stuff but it's well worth it if you can dedicate yourself to it. There's also an RTS element to the game if you play as one of the commanders but you shouldn't concern yourself with that for awhile. The original game lasted many years with people still playing it so I don't see this going any different.

I'm beginning to think these awesome discounts are foreshadowing price drops after the sale. That and Unknown Worlds Entertainment probably needs the dosh for pushing out so many updates and generally being an awesome dev that stands behind their game and their community.

Is this game going F2P? I know I never good at anything multiplayer but damn, I can't say no to 90% off.

Be advised it's a quite hardware demanding game, you'll need a good pc to run NS2 at a decent framerate.

Aside from that It's a good high learning curve game, with asymmetrical gameplay.

I bought it ages ago at 75% off but I never played it because my friends never want to. :/

I like the game and the gameplay... the only problem I have with it it's that I can't play it since it runs like crap for me and it's quite unplayable, this was when it had the free weekends.

So did they fix the low performance issues ? Since it wasn't only my problem, regular players had issues with performance as well.

How do i resist getting this? I don't want it but this 90% thingy pokes my eyes!

So should I get the regular edition or the deluxe edition?

I saw a rather disturbing thread whereby a guy explains his experience of being cursed out by "more experienced" players for being a rookie. (The game tags you as a rookie for the first 4 hours I believe) If the community is that unfriendly as said, I wouldn't play the game even if it's free.

I'm not looking forward to all the noobs that are going to be in there. Hope we get some good new commanders though.

To me it looked really good, and reading reviews it looked even better. However on playing I have realized that my computer can barely run the game! It's sad.

This game really stands out, it's very fun but you need really good computer to play it. I got tired of waiting 3 mins to load map with my wooden pc.

now it's back to 75% off. I hate when you want to sleep but Steam does wesome price changes.
