So, I showed the SG site for my girlfriend and she got interested in it, I then helped her to create her account and teached how to enter the GAs.
The world was beauty and life was fun, she found some games of her interest on the site and entered the GAs, but then out of sudden, when she came again to check if she won something the site had a big advertisement saying "Inappropriate Behavior (Permanent) Your account does not meet the $100 value requirement to join the site."
Then we were shocked because you`re not abble to register an account if you doesn't meet the requirement, and now it said she doesn't fit. We looked at her profile in "my stats" and the own SG says that her account is worth more than $100 value. I don't know what to do, she received an E-mail saying that she won a game here too, but she isn't even allowed to receive it.

P.S. We have already submited two tickets of "Unsuspend request" but neither of them has been answered.

Any ideas about what she could do?
Sorry for my english if there is any mistakes, I'm not a native speaker :)

well there is this rule, but if I'm not wrong, she wouldn't have been able to create an account here if it was wrong. Isn`t that right?

Bundled and freely available games aren't always added to the lists straight away, but once they are added, the value they give is retroactively fixed from the original date.

I believe games that are on free weekend on Steam can "cheat" the system, so my guess is she passed the $100-requirement thanks to one or more of these free to play-games.

I'm sure staff will get back to you soon with the real explanation so you don't have to keep guessing :)

The first thing - to not create more tickets.
The second - wait for answer. SG is a big community and stuff receive a lot of tickets (maybe even twice more)

Thanks for your help, we're not gonna create more tickets.

More tickets is not helping, actually counterproductive as mods get more swamped.

Maybe the reason for the ban is inappropriate behavior and nothing to do with the $100 value?

Well, I don't know what would be this inappropriate behavior, since she only entered the GAs that interested her and haven't comment anything anywhere.

It's very rarely just "out of sudden".

  • Most importantly, be calm, respectful, and open for discussion with a mod dealing with the case. They try to help, and if it was a rule breaking by mistake, you will have time and opportunity to fix it.
  • If you two (or she and and a flatmate or something, who's on SG too) share IPs, it could be seen as multiaccounting - mods needs to be notified about it and after discussing it, it's not a problem.
  • That won game is likely lost, people can ask for reroll if a winner is suspended, and they'll very likely to do if they are permanently suspended (for the time being). If you want to try, you can comment on the GA asking the creator to wait out the week in case this will be over and she will get unbanned.

TLDR: be calm and be nice to your mod, and follow what they say. Even more if you got Khalaq on your case. He's an international treasure :)

PS: Go and write down 20 times that " I will stop putting down myself". If not for your mention and that backwards apostrophe, I think noone ever would have mentioned your grammar or anything. Likely still won't. It's really good.

Thanks a lot, we actually used my computer and we were at my house to create her account and to teach her how does it work, probably this is the reason she got suspended. You was really kind, thank you.

You already received several helpful answer already but I just wanted to add, SG receive lots of unsuspend request so it may take awhile but they will answer.
At the moment the best thing you can do is just be patient and wait for a mod to answer. Good luck!

Even if 2 seperated people in the same household make an account it needs to be adressed to support.
