If I remember correctly, Omensight and Stories have no real connection, maybe the world...but I'm not sure :)
So you should be fine playing wichever you like first, but that said, both are great games with a unique mechanic you don't see too often.
I still can't decide wich one I prefer of those two :3

It's not that hard. The combat is pretty straight forward - figure out the pattern, block, evade, repeat. Exploring and finding updgrades was a bit challenging for me, because i found it pretty hard to navigate (due to all that creepy setting), through i love metroidvania games.

Blasphemous can be frustrating at times. But once you figure out the mechanics, it can be easy enough.It's all about the mechanics and timing, of which I have zero of but I am still liking it. Might try and trade for an extra copy for my friend's birthday this week.
