i've never gifted a hb sub before, but did it ask you for an email for the gift recipient? or give you a code to pass on or something? did you get a receipt from paypal? from the sound of it, you gave hb $99 and got nothing in return if your next billing date is next month.

my fault, i had assumed you were doing the 'gift a year, get a free month' thing. so you were just wanting to buy a year for yourself for $99? has your paypal been charged? have you received november's games (darksiders, yakuza, etc.)?
the only thing i can think of is maybe you're too late to unlock november and your subscription will start next month?

I did that deal yeah but there was a giftbox option that you could tick off, thinking its for myself (or i could just send the gifts to myself) but not knowing it would maybe invalidate the deal as it still only charged me $99 i thought it would be okay, but then i got the next billing will be december 2020, where does that paid $99 go then? Because Paypal has been charged yes.
And i did not get november but i already bought that as a gift seperately to myself, but it's overall weird i am not even getting an email like welcome.

yeah if it didn't give you november's games then i would guess your membership just starts next month. i really doubt they'll charge you another $99, but idk. i've heard horror stories about hb even though i've been dealing with them for several years and don't have anything bad to say. i'm sure it will all be good in the end. just wait it out til contact gets in touch and make sure everything goes smooth.

I had two-three helpful dealings with their support too, and normally i wouldnt be worried, just that its now thanksgiving and weekend, and the deal was supposed to end in 5 days, maybe they gonna say tough luck, it's too late now, but then i guess atleast if i get my money back, it will be touch and go.

My guess is this:
Since you already had the current month, then your yearly sub won't start till one week before the release of the next bundle (which would mean you get "charged" on Christmas day). I suspect the "charge" is possibly a poor choice of word, but they might activate it instead. If you hadn't already got November's Choice, then I suspect that your sub would have started straight away.
We can only wait - they have a few weeks to reply and sort this confusion out, don't stress :)

I decided to go for it, i ticked off the gift box and then it directed me to pay $99 which i did through paypal, but i never got an email, and it said next billing date is december 2020.. Was i not supposed to tick off the gift part?
I contacted their support but they got thanksgiving holiday and then it's weekend, so i am a bit scared that it went wrong. :x
I have never subscribed before, so i am totally new according to their rules.
