So I recently moved to Brazil, and I recently discovered SG. I recently did my first GA and I've heard that people got banned for moving to a place where steam games are much cheaper (EX: Brazil or Russia) and selling or giving them away to US users. the thing is most of the games I can gift are region restricted to South America. So if I buy a cheap game in Brazil and give it to an Argentinean user will I get banned.

Also 1 Dollar=3.5 Brazilian Real

GTA V=99.99 Brazilian Real

So over here GTA V is 28 dollars.

Nope. The person who could get banned is someone outside the region lock area who activates the game via vpn.

I don't think you would get banned, because it's not like you moved regions on the store for the purpose of buying cheaper games, you've moved physically, the store prices are just part of the package.

Also, welcome to the country and I am so sorry. Hope you enjoy your stay tho.

For the country, just in general.

Brazilians have a syndrome to think the country is super bad (and its basically the worst country to live, using others like USA as basis), since the news profit A LOT showing only disasters and crimes (on lunch, dinner, afternoon, any hour). Also there is the corruption crysis (something that happens in almost every country), and a lot of politicians are being investigated, (even if the midia only focus on one)

I don't think the country is the worst (Syria anyone?) but I think it's a torrid piece of shit. Not that the US is better. Oh lordy no, the US are a fucking terrible country too. Anything that isn't Norway, Denmark, Iceland or Finland I deem unfit to live in, but I just have high standards.

I'm not so sure the US is used as a basis of "great country to live in" for some time now…

I purchase a lot of things in dollars, such as nintendo eshop credits for smash dlc,in that case,it's almost 80 brazilian real, for just 20 US dollars, and here in Brazil,it's been really hard to get money, unless you are a thief here,it's a sad place to live :c

I'm a brazilian, so I'm aware of that. I thought you were talking about the Steam brazilian prices, not the US dollar price. I guess I understand now.

I'm not sure but I think you just can't active by vpn. Gifts isn't problem, it will have a region lock.

And I'm sick of "brazilians" saying bad things about Brazil.

Nope. You won't get banned for creating region resticted GAs. Some people might blacklist you because if you're making exclusivly region restricted GAs you basicly blacklisted them but it's not like you can do much about it other than buying ROW gifts from sites like Humble Bundle so I wouldn't take it personally.
