Just sold a foil card for 10 euro

i got one, sold for 60 cents...

My only foil so far was a Magicka one, sold for 0.35€. Well better than nothing ^^

I got one which was worth 6 at the time, then more people started to get the same card and the price dropped to 50cents

My only foil... Siegrune from Exceed 2nd, 2,90euro and still in the market. Cheapest price, but nobody wants it :P

Am I the only one around here who hasn't gotten a foil yet? I've gotten a fair amount of booster packs though.

The only foil I found so far was worth about 2-3€. It's still a full discounted game, I won't spit on it. :D

EDIT: unless we were on Dune. In that case I'd spit on it.

I think my only foil sold for around 4-5$, but I have bought a few games that had cards which sold for 150%+ of what I paid for the game.

the only foil i found was from Half-Life 2... Back in the days where the trading cards were in beta.. i sold that for 10 bucks..

Had a Paranormal foil drop within the first 20 minutes of the game releasing on Steam. Put it up for sale immediately. Dude hits me up and offers to buy it. I requested two keys and he took the deal and has been trying to re-sell it since. He was really nice and Im not trying to toot my horn here, but sometimes the risk doesnt pay off I guess.

I do love the card market. Discovered the magic of card banking with various bots. Look for high pay prices on the bots and buy them low on the market then bank em for keys that I keep, or TOD tickets which can be re-sold immediately. Can basically turn 1-2 cards that the bot pays 2 ref for, for 20-30 cents total if the timing works out and you catch a lull in prices. Easy money and havent had to pay 1 penny out of pocket and have profited around 20 keys since I figured out how to maximize my return. The only issue is the time involved. Waiting for things to sell, buying the cards, waiting in queues for the bots. It pays off gloriously though.

The worst selling price I saw was around 35 / 45 € for a Zero foil (BL2). Got mine a few days later, and missed the correct timing, undercutters came by and it fell from 20 / 15€ to 5€.
Still, 5€ for nothing is already quite great.

Edit : it was during the beta, which explains better the crazy prices, also I happened upon my card right at the moment the foil drop requirement was removed.

I made almost 50€ selling foil cards.

Congrats! I myself haven't had much luck with cards, I think I sold a couple of foils for around £0.80, however yesterday I received my first CS:GO item, it was a skin worth over £7.00, I received around £6.09 after Valve's cut.

Got an RE6 foil which was worth around $10 then suddenly some random dude put it up for $3 -_-

I sold a gorge from NS2 for around 3ish USD. Wasn't bad I guess.
