Yeah that bit is where you need to check the actual group since it wasnt mentioned here. Basically by decent is nothing thats an achievement spam game, free or from like dollar bundles. You dont need to go out and buy the best aaa or indie games but having to have a bunch of those types of games will put a downer on the giveaways that will gradually come from everyone taking part

Yep, I understood or at least I think. The group trying to create an environment for quality gifts. Personally, I am into bundles. I have stayed away from dollar bundles but most of the games in the dollar bundles were for personal use. I guess, I learnt on the way. :D I'll still be picking games mostly from bundles and the better games usually are picked off for my small library. Thus most of the times I am curious about such criteria. Though I might not be able to pick up titles straight off from the market like Dishonored due to constraints.
I wish you and @Dixia in creating the group both of you had envisioned and have at the same time. Cheers! :D

thank you, bundles are always welcome heck even the dollar bundles i use some for myself some times especially when its hog games but since most people hate them types of bundles it had to be cut off. see im lucky in that respect, im so picky and dont care for most things that most of my bundle goes to everyone else because i dont have good taste XD

Hahaha, yeah, I enjoy HoGs thus the main reason I bought those Dollar bundles, well i did not want the other games in the bundles thus I gave them off. In truth, there are several games like Mahjong/Luxor titles I had wanted but my backlog started building thus I guess I let them go to others instead. I still have some HoGs from Dollar Viva that I am keeping for myself hahaha Still not given them out as I did not want them to reflect on the CV.
Personal opinion but I do not mind if the $1 games to be reflected as $0.01 on the CV but I am not sure how its done so I rather not gift them out for the moment. Surely my CV probably will drop alot? but I guess I can build it up slowly again. :)
SG has thought me to be more picky with games. I had thought too much when I picked those $1 bundles up. I thought they were limited time. I even excitedly told a friend about it but she probably had known before hahaha. Only started buying games regularly with bundles 1yr ago thus started giving them out then. Now I am a bundle addict XD

giving out those games wont make your cv worse except adding more bundled games to your stat. cv only goes down when a bundled game is bundled which is no worry with those already bundled games. i think you should go ahead might have so people who are upset with the fact youve given a few out but if they dont want your games then screw them they dont deserve to enter when you do better ones. in fact those dollar bundles are great for ur cv if youre about to lvl up or at low level. each one gives out its own dollar cv mark. if you did all 20 from one thats over $20 going into your lvl simply for not even 10% of that price. any games over $10 will give you $1 in cv since you get 15% of the total price

Actually, I what I meant was I wanted/think the $1 bundles should be reduced to $0.01 or sumthing like that value. I will not mind the reduction as it makes sense. As I see alot of groups mentioning about not recruiting members with mostly $1 bundles. If the values are readjusted won't the requirement be redundant? Well just a personal thought. XD I am still learning around SG

I see, but still "decent game" is very subjective. Maybe is better to request some specific games like "not free", "not Steam is learning", "not without cards", "with 75% or more positive reviews", etc if you want a big chance of "quality". :)

decent can be different to everyone. like people find just cause decent while im like noooooooo. We have stated which isnt classed as decent and thats really it. we arent looking for the best games all we request is that its not an achievement spam, free or from a dollar bundle. anything else is really free range for the most part. sure what you put down could make them better but not everyone can afford the best so thats why were just asking for those simple 3 things to be avoid but i do thank you for the suggestions it could be put down in the future if its to much but for now thats what were sticking with

What qualifies as a decent game?
No things that merely qualify as game-shaped objects, such as achievement spam games, asset flips, and other kinds of shovelware.
No games that have been sold in extremely cheap bundles (Fanatical dollar bundles, Gogo bundles, etc) or given away for free
No region restricted games(unless its only a little part restricted)
You get bonus points if you give away unbundled games.This bonus will NEVER be taken away if the game will be bundled in the future.
