Looks great but...

BELIEVABLE FIGHTS. A game where fights look believable Yeah... about that... The gameplay trailer show animations that look odd like other games in the genre (minus For Honor, which they poke fun at)

I wonder how popular 1x1 matches will be, people probably will just focus on the big ones with 64 players though.

i agree, it didn't look that good to me. i don't think the combat system is at all comparable to For Honor, but since everyone seems to compare the two anyway - FH is more than enough multiplayer for me right now. no need for Mordhau. but if on release it turns out to be the best thing ever, i'll buy it, of course.

For Honor is more fighting game than anything, not comparable to games like Chiv/Mordhau

I think it is comparable. Its different since its on a larger scale, but if you understand how for honor or mount & blade works, you will understand how this one works, from what I can tell.

I would buy if theres a strong 1x1 community, which I doubt there will be.

I dont own chivalry but i dont believe it uses p2p. And if does, the amount of discussion over it is nowhere near For Honor endless complaining.

Hell yea this looks great. Burned out on Chiv, but man I have faith in this one. Hoping it gets to 200k for the mod tools.

former chiv devs and players came together to make this game apparently. Which is awesome since game design wouldn't have those chivarly 360 spin exploits or animation locks

Yep! Made by ex chiv vets that got fed up with TB's mismanagement of the game. Makes me even more excited. The horseback gameplay was a surprise and looks awesome.

I've never played any Mount n Blades to any large degree. They're obviously much different than something like this or Chiv, but is it similar to something like War of the Roses? Bannerlord looks awesome too I wanna give that a go.

never played war of the roses but it has the similar 4 direction attack/defend combat structure. Mount and blade is epic in the sense that you're also a commander of the army. I love lining up my riflemen or archer groups for a volley shot, or leading the charge with a strike team of Calvary. It's epic beyond anything medieval i played
