It has been a long wait, but it's finally happening - Ghost of a Tale will be leaving Early Access in ~2 weeks. I had the EA version for a long time, but didn't play too much of it. I mainly bought it to support development, didn't want to spoil the final game for myself, though. So I just played like an hour or so. My first impression of it was very good, and I am glad the final version will soon be here (after a few delays).

I saw a gameplay video for this one sometime ago and really liked the look of it. The mouse's idle animations are pretty cute. Excited for this one.

Saw the news earlier today, I won it a few months ago and have been waiting for the release to play

Same for me, followed it since ~2015 I think and last year finally convinced myself to get it EA - played a few minutes and already had a blast, can't wait to lay my hands on the finished product, it's amazing what such a small team realized here.

I've heard about this game before, but didn't followed the news, so I was kinda surprised I haven't heard about it for a long time. Unsure if I will like it, does not looks like my cup of tea, but still good to hear they going to release - somehow it still looks like a good game.

didn't follow the news either. i actually didn't check the game's status in many months. i just browsed my favorites list on steam (which is the "you need to play this sooner or later!" list) and discovered they actually announced the final version just 2 days ago. ^^

Holy crap. I heard of this thing ages ago and had resigned it to the big pile of awesome looking things that would never claw their way out of early access hell. Back then it was a rather pretty looking alpha.

It's always so nice when things manage to launch off towards their potential. Here's hoping the full release lives up to expectations and the creator gets the praise they deserve!
(also thanks for the heads up. I would have totally missed this)

I won this game here on SG shortly after the Early Access release and played for a few hours. I will play the full version for sure. Thanks for the heads up!

Did'nt know about this game, I don't know why at some moments it reminds me of Little Nightmares, added the game to my watchlist for future revisiting.

Obviously the games are very different but don't know why my brain made that connection seeing the presentation video :-D

I'm in a similar situation. Bought it in EA to support development, but didn't play too much to not spoil the full game, but liked what I played of it and even made a giveaway here a while back. So it's nice that they're about to release the full version.

I've had the game in my library for more than 3-4 months or so and I'm seriously dying to play it. I am also extra happy to hear about the existence of a photo mode. I'm so gonna have a blast with the game if there aren't any gamebreaking bugs.

I've played the early access game, which is a demo, and it's a really good game. Still, it has some bugs that need to be fixed, including a bug that doesn't let you do a mission, but I guess that the devs will have them fixed in the full game. But damn, the game's main character is the cutest mouse I've ever seen.
