Hey there fellas!

I need some help. I am about to buy a used ASUS GTX660 DirectCU II. I searcehd the interned and found out that it comes with this Driver-CD if you buy it from an actual retailer. So, is that Driver-CD mandatory when installing the graphics card or can I install it without the CD?

Thanks!

You can just download a newer driver and use that.
Windows Vista and up downloads it automatically when it is detected.

Get the newest drivers from NVidia and get the newest tools from ASUS on their support page. Everything will always be more up to date on the sites. CD is just there to make the product work if you don't have internet.

Don't worry, GPU bundled drivers are useless anyway because they're always outdated. Just get the 314.22 from Nvidia's site (avoid lastest ones like the plague for a while because they have a little tendency to fry videocards).
