Wanna ask something. When trying to use this software I have seen people succesfully entering my account. Luckily I have 2 steps auth and changing the pass makes them stop trying. Not sure if it's coincidence but I'm scared to use it again because of this since I want to idle some more cards to save money.

Random people from random places. I know it's not me because:
a) At that moment I have not logged in
b) It says the code as been asked from a different country than mine
Also, I usually have to enter the android app for the code but those times I was sent an email with the code, when I never use the email option for sending the Steam Guard code.

Your issue has nothing to do with ASF. It could be your account being compromised, some other account registered on the same e-mail, having malware on your PC/phone or any other potential reason for that to happen, but that's for another thread, not ASF discussion.

Can feature MatchActively be enabled without ASF 2FA active? I have Android phone and don't want to play with root or changing it and I'm able to confirm within few minutes. Maybe you can add like 2 category with non ASF 2FA - it is not issue is another user need even 2 days to accept trade - like it happens via STM.

No, this feature loses its whole potential if you'd need to confirm yourself, as then rounds can't work effectively, neither actual matching. It'd also heavily increase issues such as items no longer available and other cases that do not play well without automation. In addition to that it'd force you to take active part in ASF's matching, which goes against the objective of the module being fully transparent.
I can recommend a desktop authenticator such as WinAuth if you can't duplicate it out of your phone. Not only for ASF, but for your own convenience and sanity as well.

Probably a stupid question, but I just want to know if I have understood my situation correctly.
I don't want to root my phone and I want to keep the authenticator in my phone (as I need it on multiple locations/computers).
So I take it's not possible to use MatchActively as I can't use WinAuth with authenticator already active in my phone?
The instructions say "Now launch WinAuth as usual" and so on, but as I have no experience with it I'm not exactly sure what this refers to. I assume it means that if I were using WinAuth instead of the mobile authenticator I would proceed from there.

Yes. As long as you do not extract the authentificator from your phone (impossible without root, as far as I know) you would have to remove your phone and add winAuth (or similar) as "new phone". Then you can use ASF, but NOT your phone anymore.

Couple months ago there weren't pre-sale mysterious cards dropping or everyone trading cards to get them and I said "private", not private.
Why is this news every time that every sale Steam gets even more broken than usual because they are too stingy to rent another server from the cloud. :)

Something weird happened.
When I turned on my pc this morning - ArchiSteamFarm.exe disappeared.
I was using it yesterday for whole day.
Checked av quarantine and it's not there.
Last thing I did was uninstalling "war thunder" client. Is it possible that it also removed asf.exe somehow?

Games you !addlicence are not dropping cards according to that thread, but Hitman 2 that is free to play for 2 weeks started dropping cards without any interaction at least for me. Either it's a trap or Steam as usual. :)

In previous sales only donators were eligible to receive the special ASF version that can do that.
But I think that's not really an issue this year since apparently you can vote for all categories from day 1 and not one per day. Haven't looked into it yet so I might be wrong. Waiting for traffic to go back to normal before I try.

But yes, I don't care one bit about the emotions of random people who see being blunt as some kind of hate crime. Teach a man how to fix his problem and he will ask for emotional support every time. Well, people above recommended reading the wiki where it's explicitly said that this feature activates 1 hour since ASF boot, so I'm not entirely sure how this is going to help if people do not want to read by definition, maybe if you tried to sing it then you'd have better success :3.

I am travelling 4 days through x-mas carrying laptop. Will netcore 2.2 installer work to make ASF run? Can someone post link what exact latest netcore to install? I have only windows installed atm nothing more. Anything else I need install? any of previous do net frameworks? windows service packs?

Ok, so I have a problem and I can't find it documented anywhere, thus I'm here now:
When using the command !loot on a bot, it says
Failed due to error: inventory is empty!Still works just fine. Bot has public everything and obviously has items in inventory, I see them when I log in via browser.

Edit: everything is tradeable, no locks, steamguard ok, there are backgrounds, emoticons and 1 coupon. Most if not all are the new steam awards 2018, I could think there's a bug with that, but since others work fine then IDK.
I also know that in the past you could set which type of items you'd want to loot, such disabling gifts so they stay there, or disable bg or emoticons, and only loot cards. IDK what's wrong so I just sent manually the trade from browser, confirmed it by command.

I wanted to see if it was a steam derp thing yesterday or not. Find it weird it worked fine for some and fail for others, all same config.
Just checked, same bot, same command, nothing on the console, so no error, only in the steam chat (that's how I command the bots, steam chat).
These are all emoticons now, from the steam award 2018. Tho it shouldn't matter to ASF.
Think there used to be another part, ex. !loot A <bot> but even if I try !loot alone, it still fails. From a "master bot" chat using bot's name or directly in the bot chat, everything fails (again, no error in console). The cards are sent, on automatic drop, just not the other items.
Hmm, default config for lootable types are 1,3,5. Emoticons are 2, BUT I used to use a command that looted everything no matter this default config. I checked the updated commands because perhaps I'm doing it wrong or something, but I can't figure it out what.

I had problems with couple bots failing x*5 times to send items, checked them out by logging in with browser and there were about dozen trades waiting for mobile confirmations stuck because of Steam as usual. Canceled those and no problems afterwards, so worth trying at least.

Thanks, but that wasn't it at least in my case. I have both ASF commands and winauth to confirm stuff, aside from login in via browser so I could actually SEND the trade offers because ASF is failing for unknown reason.
I guess I'll take what I can get after all I'm not donor and it's awesome work all for free, and I do appreciate it.

Still no harm in checking, there are plenty of random bugs going around every sale and it has helped me solve them at least 2 or 3 times.
Also not about whatever you authenticate with but Steam eating the offers before they reach any of them. Once again looking at market I have 5 listings waiting for confirmation that never appeared anywhere.

Hi. Sorry if it's a dumb question. But does ASF automatically create steam web api key? I was searching for ways to avoid account being hijacked and it says there "the account hijackers will set up an API key on your account in order to efficiently control it". I don't remember registering for steam api. But I do remember revoking it few days ago. Should I revoke it again? Thanks.

Yes, ASF requires API key to operate and will automatically create and use it. I don't follow your logic, any person being able to fetch your API key already has full control over your account, you can revoke it afterwards if you have it leaked (and regained the control), but revoking it in advance has no purpose.

API key can be used by various third-party tools and scripts in order to interact with Steam service on your behalf. ASF uses it for stuff such as receiving trade offers, accepting and declining them, and effectively fetching list of the games that you own. You shouldn't share your API key with other people, that's true, and this is why Steam allows you to revoke API access in case you do, for example accidentally, the same way how Steam allows you to change or reset your password.
Having API key initialized does not increase chances of getting hijacked, it works the same as a password and attacker can't access it without hijacking your account first, or you explicitly leaking that detail to him. If there was any risk associated with it, ASF would use another method in order to interact with the service. This is why I'm saying that you don't have anything to worry about, unless you share your API key with other people (same as if you shared with them your password).

Hi, wanted to make a feature request:
The ability to idle every game (regardless of drops) for a minute, or whatever amount is necessary to leave a review.
I had some keys revoked from the recent Electro Stalin Entertainment/ Otaku bundle issue and this comment was interesting to me.
Unlike Urban War Defense I have no playtime in this so I can't write a review. Shame.

Playing a game unlocks the ability to review it (even if the game gets revoked), but with the way ASF currently works this would only apply to games with drops. I know ASF has the ability to idle a specific game once all drops have been collected, was wondering if this could be extending to play all games for a short amount of time.

ASF is a C# application that allows you to farm steam cards using multiple steam accounts simultaneously. Unlike Idle Master which works only for one account at given time, requires steam client running in background, and launches additional processes imitating "game playing" status, ASF doesn't require any steam client running in the background, doesn't launch any additional processes and is made to handle unlimited steam accounts at once. In addition to that, it's meant to be run on servers or other desktop-less machines, and features full cross-OS support, which makes it possible to launch on any .NET Core-supported operating system, such as Windows, Linux or OS X. ASF is possible thanks to gigantic amount of work done in marvelous SteamKit2 library.
ASF doesn't require and doesn't interfere in any way with Steam client. In addition to that, it doesn't require exclusive access to given account, which means that you can use your main account in Steam client, and use ASF for idling the same account at the same time. If you decide to launch a game, ASF will get disconnected, and resume idling once you finish playing your game, being as transparent as possible during entire process.
