Bloody purge made me go from like 8020 to 7995.

congratulation on reaching 8k a second time :D
Thanks, hope it's the last. :p
I'm not much into racking up games on steam.
Purge has no power here!
Thanks for the wishlisted GA
Now playing: '8k - Part 2: The Return' 🤞
Congrats. And I thought I had a shitton of games I'll never play
I know them feels. I feel like I've been close to going backward ever since I hit 7K.
Blessed be our New Founding Fathers for letting us purge and cleanse our souls. Blessed be Steam, a game client reborn.
Congratulations (again)! On a side note: I love that show where the photo you posted came from!!! Used to watch it all the time a few years back! :D
Dirty Jobs yeah, me too made you sometimes think that your job isn't so bad at all, well a little. :p
Too bad he seemed to have disappeared from tv, he was likeable, and he would have been great in other shows.
King of the backlog!
I suspect he may be constipated.
wow lol. That's a lot of games.
They need to remove more.
Recongratulations are in order then ;)
Did you lose the XP for the 8K badge (or the badge) when you dropped below 8K?
Congrats on all the games. I hope your job-hunt goes well and that you get this job that you wish!
When I get stressed or down, I often listen to OTR (Old Time Radio) podcasts of comedy shows (especially Jack Benny, Fibber McGee & Molly, The Great Gildersleeves, or Our Miss Brooks) or some of the following shows, which span across various genres:
For Variety shows, I very much enjoy Dinah Shore, especially in the Bird's Eye Open House, and Bing Crosby in his various shows. The Henry Morgan Show is (as I recall) one of my favorites.
For mystery, I really enjoy Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, Richard Diamond, Private Detective (the star sings every show, and is quite good), and The Saint.
If you prefer drama, I can recommend the radio shows Escape, Suspense, The Whistler, The Shadow, The Unexpected, or The Green Hornet.
For Sci-Fi, there is Dimension-X and X Minus One.
Sit-coms include The Phil Harris & Alice Faye Show, Father Knows Best, It's Higgins, Sir, and Life of Riley
Shows that do radio versions of movies include The Screen Guild Theater and Lux Radio Theater.
If Superheroes are your thing, there is The Adventures of Superman.
There are also westerns, such as Gunsmoke, Frontier Gentleman, and Have Gun, Will Travel.
I also strongly recommend the radio show When Radio Was, as they have a daily podcast which airs both online and on many radio stations across the country (and beyond, via tunin or radio.com).
I honestly can't say anything about XP, as it was a nice goal to reach level 100, but i really don't care about more levels.
I did lose the badge as i dropped to 7995, so assuming i lost the xp too, i had 5 euro left on PayPal and bought 17 games on the dig store (Indiegala stuff) yet it only brought me to 8001 (so go figure how many beside those free games don't count, in the client at games it even says 8732).
That's alot of recommendations, will go through them.
Atm i am not watching alot, Star Trek Discovery and Orville for Scifi and Tosh.0 and Russell Howard for comedy
And 2 soaps (yeah as a guy). :p
Thanks for the info! I appreciate it!
8732 is quite a few games.
Of all those, I mostly listen to the comedies and varieties. Other than those shows I listed as comedies, Dinah Shore/BirdsEyeOpenHouse, and Richard Diamond, Private Detective, I basically listen to that radio show and whatever 2 shows they play each day. The ones listed as exceptions I actively hunt down. Archive.org has a bunch of public domain (free) recordings of those show available for streaming. The ones from archive.org are in some cases lower quality than those from WRW or purchased from someone, just because the folks at WRW or radiospirits.org "digitally remaster" the shows and clean up the audio, if necessary.
I also came across the weekly internet show (or, I guess radio--if you live close enough) Those Were the Days with archives available for two weeks after air date at http://www.nostalgiadigest.com/those%20were%20the%20days.htm.
I haven't actually heard of that comedian, or of Orville, but I'll check them out! Classic Dr Who (as occasionally aired on twitchpresents) is nice.
Nothing wrong with guys liking soaps. :D

You are lacking a "Deja Vu" music video! :D
Deja vu bump
I think the best part about Steam's semi-regular clown developer / publisher removals is the discouragement from buying random junk... :)
It used to be during the big sales I'd just sort by price and buy all the cheapest games... But now when I see cookie-cutter garbage, zero effort, fake reviews etc. I think hmm... This is never going to be a precious +1... They are going to get greedy, and push just a bit too far, and get all their games removed. Hooray! :)
Of course https://steam.madjoki.com/apps/banned still says Owned: 506 / 878... Sigh...
