Over a week ago a requested a re-roll, and the GA has been marked as not received. (or is this automatic if it goes over 1 week?)
Will this fix itself once re-roll is granted?
Or am i marked for life now?

Private profile, VAC ban, 0 giveaways created, no surprise there. :p

But its still a group.

Doesn't matter. Especially that the user should be kicked (or is already kicekd) from the group - so they just mark it not received from malice.

It matter because in the time I wrote that no one wrote he was kicked or will be kicked. So I thought he was just a normal member.

It doesn't. You said "its still a group". Being in a group doesn't matter at all when it comes to rerolls. Can't be rerolled as "not member anymore", okay. But any other reroll reason still applies. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

if someone got invite in group - all that you have listed does not matter (cause all that were before the inviting)

of course the winner marked as not received, he didn't get the game.

once it's rerolled the new winner can mark it properly.

May I ask you why you rerolled? I see thats a game. But you cannot enter a giveaway if you already have the game and if you activated the game before the giveaway ends, your entry will be removed. So why the reroll?

Winner was kicked out from the group (+7 wins).. but since the profile wasn't synced that user got chance to enter.

was he kicked b4 GA ended? If not SG will not grant reroll, if yes OP shall add screenshot of group history (if he has no access then ask group admin) of time winner got kicked, because SG will not accept reroll without such a proof anyway.

User was kicked before GA ended. Screenshot of group's history was provided more than a week ago.

Well - you will be granted your reroll and your not received will vanish - but let me just said - whoever invites a lvl 0, no GAs created, private profile, vac banned user to GA group is a freaking idiot ;p

Well to be fair, if they meet the requirements for the group at the time.....

As I said - even so admin is an idiot ;p it's his hroup, he has every right to deny anyone joining even if they meet requirements - requirements usually mean minimum, does not mean auto-invite. Also - if group requirements allow vacbanned private profiles without a single GA ever made it doesn't take a genius to see that it will bring leechers and teachers to your group.

From the rest of the thread, I think the group in question is one opened specifically for ppl with fewer than 7 wins, no matter their contribution to SG.
Makes sense in order to motivate ppl IMO. I remember that my first few weeks here were just entering many GAs with super low odds and not winning anything while making a limited amount of GAs because you start with not many slots and often don't realize that you should make short GAs if you want to increase your slot counts at a decent speed ^^

still, as mentioned before - it may be Unlucky 7, still I would not invite a profile that screams "cheater" to the group even if it's open to "all" people with small win numbers.

The group is Unluky-7. Its not an open group.. recruitment is done in one of the thread. When members wins their 8th game or 7+. Usually members leave the group themselves or state they want to remain as a contributor notifying the admin. But in some cases knowingly or unknowingly they forget to sync their accounts on SG which creates cases like this.

Private profile are a no-no, at least at the time of requirement or handling down the key. I guess the user changed their profile status later.

As for VAC ban. I agree with you. But I think admin wanted to give a second chance hoping some might leave their bad habits behind. As for punishment they can't enter in most other groups or SG protected GA.

Leeching, I don't see it will be an issue in the group. Since most users leave the group with their 8th win, or self-kicked. At most they might get couple of keys but not much.

as stated above - it may be Unlucky 7, still I would not invite a profile that screams "cheater" to the group even if it's open to "all" people with small win numbers. And while user could have changed their profile privacy settings in the meantime (not to mention that if group has no private profile rules and it's not enforced it's worthless, checking all profiles at random time once every week or two is not so hard, or ask members to verify profiles of winners or anything) VAC Ban for example have been present on said profile for over a year.

All good.. re-roll was granted and 'not received' was removed.. phew lol

I wish people would remove entries when they 'leave' as per rules of group..

It would be easier if you ask the winners that you want to reroll for their approval stating the rules of the group and providing snapshot of the chat to the support. Would make the process a lot faster.
I had a similar case (not kicked.. still in the group but with 7+ wins), added the winner in Steam, had a chat with him and mentioned why I wanted to reroll. He agreed which made the process a lot easier. Well if he didn't then there was steam group history. A longer process which might have or might not have guaranteed a reroll.

Approval is not needed if the user is no longer member of the group when the giveaway ends, and screenshot was provided on january 8th, one day after the giveaway ended. This one was entirely on SG's ticket queue.
edit. The way you written out what to do may help others who are not familiar with the situation though ^^

I meant to say it would make the process faster and easier.

I know the suggestion I gave isn't required so I said "Well if he didn't then there was steam group history."

And for "might have or might not have guaranteed a reroll" this is because of the case I mentioned earlier. The support replied me with

We do not hold users accountable on the site for their actions in Steam groups. It is the responsibility of groups to police their own members and enforce their own rules by ensuring that members who violate those rules are removed from the group, and to ensure this is done in a timely fashion. Unfortunately we cannot issue a reroll in this case.

This case doesn't exactly fit with the case of Sledge1 but is a case from common group, which might come handy. And is more effective.

I think I understand you. Yes, support doesn't care about kicks if it was too late, but it indeed can be sped up if the user immediately submits the screenshot with the ticket for the first time if the user was kicked before the GA ended, as SG can't force a sync.
