The only game that doesn't really interest me is The Black Heart, the last fighting game I was any good at was the first Mortal Kombat. lol

Seems like we broke their servers as well. :(

I'd rather get toilet paper screensavers for Steam than random non-Steam games tbh:s

Your loss... There are a lot of awesome Indie games out there that aren't on Steam.

indeed, and that's my point. while you're at it, you might as well download all free games in the internet...also the whole idea to bundle free games seems pretty constrained to me, why not just list all games on the page:S

You don't get the point of the Free Bundle. If the page was up, I'd just quote it since they said it well, but the goal of the page is to make quality freeware games known to people willing to try them. Like you said, there are a lot of free games, and this bundle is to sift through the tat and give users the more enjoyable titles.

Yeah I haven't been able to download any of the games yesterday or today. On the other hand, quality is still a matter of opinion. But you're right that it offers a limiting context from which it's easier to try out games. Much like Steam.

But Steam costs money. My wallet just growls at me when I want to spend money on something other than bills right now. :(

Also a positive, I have a flash drive piled with the better freeware games (Streets of Rage Remake, Nitronic Rush, Cave Story, Warning Forever and a bunch of others), to chuck on PCs of people I know who don't play much on their systems. Works even on the rare PC without an internet connection.

Impossibru. All awesome games are on Steam. Ain't no game that's awesome that isn't on Steam already.

Not Steam, pass.

Honestly, I'll never get round to playing ANY DRM-free stuff.

That's pretty sad... I've played a ton of awesome DRM free Indie games.

It's getting pretty hard for devs to get their games on Steam now a days, you guys should show some support for these people that work really hard on a game that you get for free... o_O

It's not that I don't appreciate them, I know there are some awesome ones out there, and that indie devs need all the support they can get, but my Steam backlog is big enough, I don't need DRM-free stuff hanging around on my PC as well.

Darn it, I hate when people post a link to The Free Bundle because it always goes down afterwards.
