I imagine there's some licensing issues that prevents that from happening, last time I heard the Simpsons license was in the hands of EA so I wouldn't keep my hopes up.
It's pretty sad that a lot of older games are hostage to time and legal BS.

Castlevania - Symphony of The Night
Rumor has it, this and Rondo of Blood are going to make it on PS4

Omg Konami! Why you don't release this on Steam also?

The problem with Symphony of the Night is there's no 'definitive' version.
PS1 - Has classic translation that the game is known for ("What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets! But enough talk, have at you!")
Saturn - Has additional playable character and areas, but has framerate issues and was never released in english.
PSP - Has a completely new translation and voice actors, which while more accurate then on PS1 comes across as very dry and unmemorable by comparison (Alucards voice actor sounds like he's going to fall asleep during some lines that should be rather emotional). Also includes extra playable character like on Saturn, but changes their gameplay.
Xbox 360 - Port of the PSP version.
PS4 - ???
PS1 fan retranslation - Supposedly the most faithful version to the Japanese original, but again lacks the extra playable character and areas from Saturn/PSP/360.
Not a single version supports true widescreen (though some support stretching the 4:3 image to fit the screen I believe).

It's probably getting a remaster as we speak, since the Crash N.Sane Trilogy was successful.

RDR2 will probably come later on PC, just like GTAV.

Rockstar are still insisting RDR2 will remain console only but they'll bring it over at some point as I very much doubt they'll let that market sit there untouched. From what I recall of their previous statements the first game never made it to PC due to issues with the source code, either it was a mess or missing, I Can' recall the specifics.

Doubt on the 2018 Spiderman because Insomniac is known to favor tons of PS Exclusive games and they don't own the Spiderman IP since Sony Rented it from Marvel and hired Insomniac.
So the IP belongs to Sony.
Its not like the case of Activision which then took down many Marvel license games off PC for not renewing the license.

Persona 5 for me
Edit: Oh, from PS2 ? I'd like to see Dynasty Tactics 2 (probably on GOG), and Basara 2 Heroes or all Basara series together since I've lot of memories with them.

You can play Ps4 games on PC by using PS Now, which is Sony's streaming service.

But you still need the games.
No you don't PS Now is a subscription based streaming service, you pay your monthly fee and can play any of the included games.

A feasible solution would be to buy a PS4. In most countries it's not that expensive as it can be found in sale for $199 or $249. I paid €300 for mine with 3 bundled games.

well the topic said console games you want to be in pc, doesn't mean "they definitely will" come to pc, so we don't need bringing up realistic and logic here. I understand as well some properties are owned by microsoft and sony and that's why i also understand those games will never hit multi platforms, so my opinion is basically just a whisper of wish in my head, not more than that..

There actually was a PC port of the first Suikoden back in the day with higher resolution art released in China, but the PSP remaster was even better, with true widescreen support (actually showed more of the area) and improvements to menues. Though sadly neither ever got released in English.

wow, i dont know about that,
but yeah, no english version means nothing for me since i cant read chinese

Since we are getting some console games and a few HD remakes of some, I thought I'd ask, nay be nosy, as to what you'd love to see brought to steam for the first time from consoles.
I've been thinking a lot about Castlevania so I'd lobe to see the classic Symphony of the Night or maybe the two PS2 ones, Curse of Darkness (have a soundtrack sampler and LOVE the music) and Lament of Innocence.
Anyone else?
