I remember it being a decent distraction, really well done for a joke. Good thing to know it didn't went away completely, many of these promotional mini games get lost to time.

I have seen similar commands all over the forum, and after reading I saw that the best way to use them is to install something called ASF (I think this is the one https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm)
Is there a way to add the game to my steam library without installing that?

Try the "install" Button on steamdb. Dunno if that works, though. Never used it.

Maybe I should actually hook my main account up with ASF (again) for commands. I can’t remember if I just deactivated it or I removed the config, but I did one of the two to stop it from idling all my games (as it was easier than just adding games to the blacklist, and I do like to know which ones I really need to get around to sometime, lol).

Yes, yes it has. Was I aware of it? No. Are there others that might not have been aware of it? Yes. Is there a store page available? No. Do I come across as an ass via text? Yes. Does that change the fact that it's nice to inform the public of neato freebies? No.
