In my opinion, it doesn't really matter. It will go through uplay anyway, but you won't see it in your steam library if you buy it for uplay. Then again uplay will probably be dirt cheap compared to steam.

I say Uplay, even if you will have the steam copy of the game, It will still require uPlay to be launched.

PS4 :p Honestly though, it really doesn't matter. The Uplay store has unique pre-order bonuses, and even if you buy it on Steam, you'll still end up launching the Uplay client anyway. By using that logic, definitely Uplay, there's less additional programs needed to run it.
