Watched lots of movies near US release day, but I never had a movie this extreme. I think it's some odd marketing strategy made on our side. Maybe to avoid Terminator and Mission Impossible (watched and enjoyed both :D) and some of our own movies. Or something like that.

LoL...Everybody keeps mentioning action movies which are pretty far away.. BOOORING!!!! Here are some more intelligent thriller movies that are coming out this year, which I find tons more interesting: Sothpaw, Black Mass, Self/Less.

I don't really enjoy thriller movies. I usually feel like wasting my time when watching them, because some of them are very predictable (Well, it's the same with action movies, but I like watching them). But there are exceptions in both cases.

Well, truth be told Southpaw and Black Mass are more drama movies than thrillers. Black Mass is even inspired by the real life of gangster Whitey Bulger. it's really interesting, especially with Johny Depp playing the main character.
Southpaw is a drama about a boxer who's temper all but ruins his life and he has to piece it back together and get his daughter back. Like an alternate version of Raging Bull. It's got Jake Gylenhall in the main role and it looks REALLY NICE from what I saw in the trailer. It's already out in the States, so I'm just waiting for it to launch in my country, which should be pretty soon.
And Self/Less is sort of a sci-fi movie in which Ben Kingsley plays some old, rich dude who wants to get his youth back and accepts to undergo some untested experiment that transfers his mind into a young body that is presumably a blank slate, played by Ryan Reynolds.
What's good about all 3 of them is that I'll be able to see them real soon, as in this month and the coming fall, as opposed to future block-busters like Star Wars Episode VII, Mockingjay Part II, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, Captain America Civil War, etc. for which I still have quite some time to wait. Not to mention far away movies which are still mere concepts at this point and not even pre-porduction, like Warcraft or Assassin's Creed.
