Go into Steam settings-->Downloads Tab--> Content Libraries
There you can add your new folder on drive D.

In the Steam client go to Steam->Settings, and then click on the download tab. There's a button called 'STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS'. You should be able to add multiple folders for your steam games there.

So I've been downloading a lot of games over the past few months and now my laptop is pretty much filled (there's only 20GB free). So I decided to move my games onto an external hard drive. But this is where things get complicated; I've got two drives on my laptop (C and D) both of which have Steam games.
I managed to move my C games relatively easily to my F drive by following this as they were in the SteamApps folder. But I'm not quite sure how I'd go about moving the games in drive D. Moving the games is as easy and copying and pasting, but how would I get Steam to recognize where the games are installed?
Any help is appreciated. Also, don't ask me why I don't uninstall any of my games. I just like having them all installed and also my internet is capped at a mere 60GB per month.
