They seem too......i dont know they just dont do it for me....they are fun for a while but lack the spark i wish to play.

i guess you could say so, but they focus on large fleets from way up high, i would prefer a smaller fleet in high detail that i could buy and upgrade etc xD build space stations, colonoze planets etc but from a freelance faction. (a private entity :D)

I suggest you try dark star one, it ain't as complex as you want but you can own a private spaceship in a grand universe battling against pirates, rogue traders (basically capitalists)
it's a fun game, the control ain't hard, the flying seems cool. I have not tried much of it but I like it so far.

Do you Think we will ever get a game like the X Series but as a rts game, I really want that tied in the with the vastness of x and the economy.

We have star wolves etc but they seem more arcade, A hardcore combat/economy sim in rts would make my day.
