It's always interesting to see which questions are the trickiest; they are often not the ones you'd expect when writing the questions.
I can tell you Q5's answer doesn't have to start with a B, if that's what you thought.

Interesting that others had trouble with Q2, which I got immediately. But I am struggling with Q7 and Q10 like the others, as well as Q1. I have the other questions. There appars to be multiple possible answers to Q1 or I am missing something.

Flew through 1-9, but despite the clue I'm finding #10 a bit too obscure. Tried a couple of dozen words from the wiki article you mention, but no luck... I'm confused as to if I'm looking for the name of a place which is also the name of a fish - every time you say "something" in the question, does it represent the word I'm looking for?

I guess the timer must be a bug; it worked for me. You could try opening the page in another browser and see if it works there. Let me know if it doesn't work.
The hints should help a lot with both questions and I've also left some other hints in replies on this page.

Q10: Googling "crucible iron something" gets as a first result (for me) the Crucible steel page on Wikipedia. There's rather a lot in there and I must admit you need a little bit of a Western bias to say "this is famous for its steel". This something also has a theatre named after the process...

I've attempted a bunch of answers.
Things I have found on Google that have not helped: News about airstrikes on Syria. A production of "The Little Mermaid." Fish-boning knives made from crucible iron. A TF2 weapon that is more than one word.
For Q2 I'm just as lost.
