Bringing Call of Duty as the only real graphics-showoff was just one more entry to the long list of mistakes they made while presenting the next watercooler.

And in the terms of graphics (and from the standpoint of a PC user), the X360 was very disappointing too in the beginning.. it always takes some time till the true potential is revealed. Just compare Gears of War 1 with GoW 3 or Oblivion with Skyrim for example.. side-by-side it is hard to belive those games are all native to the same console.
