I'm in Port Angeles right next to the rainforest and they declared a burn ban here too. Recreational cooking only. This is the first time that there's no snow visible on the Olympics from my front door.

We had a burn ban last year here in the Midwest, as well. Businesses that would spray paint your lawn green popped up out of nowhere... pretty comical if you ask me. Added for having an awesome ratio.

I remember hearing about those companies in California the last time we had water restrictions here in Washington, early 90's, I think. I thought it was funny then. I think it is pretty funny now.
