Steam email my gift question

2 ways, I think

1. Add the winner and just give it to him
2. Send the gift link from the email (but remove your email from the link)

you can purchase it as gift to store in inventory..how ..how do you email your gift to yourself? other steam account?
the wait is for trading.. not for gifts

You don't have to wait 30 days, if you buy it as gift you can send it as gift to the winner the same day or later.

Like Tevelizor said, there's 2 ways to send a gift that's sat in your inventory but can't be traded yet, you can give it directly to someone but they have to be on your friend's list or you can just send it straight to their email which pops up next to their name when they win, probably best to inform them if you do send via email as I know a few people don't check them too often, no need to faff about with the whole email yourself thing as there seems more chance that something would go wrong :)

you can buy the gift,keep it in inventory and send it as a "gift" whenever you want,you don't have to wait 30 days.........
