Russian ‘tank graveyard’ after 52 vehicles blown up in one battle as Putin forced into retreat
some say it were 73 vehicles.
how do the ukrainians do this? and how do the russians manage to screw up so badly?
the destruction is unbelievable. brought a single manly man tear to my eye. almost gave me a boner, too.

it was a known crossing point. So the ukrainians waited untill they laid the ponton bridge and started crossing.
Then the used their artillery and su25 plane

The stupid part is that the Russian tried the crossing not once but again on another day when the first one failed

Ever heard of Chornobaivka? There's an airport that Russian forces are desperately trying to capture. They are deploying their vehicles and/or aircrafts there and Ukrainian forces are shelling them to ashes. Just for Russians to redeploy new vehicles and/or aircrafts there and to be shelled again.
Now for the part you are interested about. How many times do you think this has happened? Twice? Thrice? No, just yesterday Ukrainians reported on their 19th shelling of Chornobaivka.

So Ukraine just won the Eurovision song contest. And by a complete landslide (around 600 points with more than 400 from the public's votes, which is a new record). I don't know if many Ukrainians were able to watch the show, or even were in the mood to but it's nice to see so much support for Ukraine coming from all corners of Europe.

Does 2C19 and 2C35 tell you something, or is it just about the old stuff that you've heard about for storage? 29 and 40 km, if not to use the corretiable shells, and with them 80 km. Which is much higher than 24 km, no, if you take Excalibur, then you can get 40 there, or even all 60, but you need the shells themselves for 160,000 US dollars 1 pc. Although there is no control unit, and this is an electronic sight, they forgot to put it or did not, due to the fact that 1 howitzer is already in the DPR and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are studying it, so Excalibur is not suitable for this modification.
And so almost everyone has already switched to self-propelled artillery, moving away from the towed one due to the very large development of counter-battery radars. There is no time to deploy, shoot at the target, and then collapse the battery, you can get a retaliatory strike.

You mean the 2S19 and 2S35 Msta.
Nice piece of equipment but as with all equipment it is only as good as its weakest link.
It's no secret that the Russians are using mostly "dumb" munitions ( lack of budget, corruption and let's just call it how it is inferior tech)
I have a lot of faith in the Ukrainians using their equipment effectively compares to the Russians who have made too many to count strategical blunders. Blunders that are easy to cover up when fighting Syria, Chechnya or Georgia but not so much when you are fighting the West's tech.
Excalibur rounds may cost 112K Usd per unit but have a 92% accuracy report which makes them very deadly in capable hands.

You are right self propelled artillery is easier to move around and reposition in a battle zone.
The reason that the US/Ukraine haven't picked for example the M109 self propelled artillery is simply due to the fact that NATO standard equipment takes time for the Ukrainians to learn, time they don't have to waste at the moment. Towed artillery is easier for Ukrainians to become proficient at using in a short period of time.

At the moment the West is still in the phase of providing resources to Ukraine to help Ukraine stay afloat however they are ramping this up to more and more NATO war winning equipment.
Started with Nlaws and Javelins to slow/stop Russian advances to now more gear to start counter pushes to get the Russians out of Ukraine.
Just look for signs of the ongoing transition to NATO standard hardware in the coming weeks/months delivered to the Ukraine.

2C19 is Msta-C (self-propelled, not to be confused with 2A65 Msta-B, which is towed, but they can not be taken into account, since most of them are in storage), but 2C35 is a Coalition, although very similar in appearance.

Nice piece of equipment but as with all equipment it is only as good as its weakest link.

I do not dispute that all weapons in the right hands can cause a lot of damage. Just like one ballpoint pen when used correctly (a blow to the eye). The main thing is to understand what this weapon can do and how it can be used.

Well, towed artillery can be mastered by those who have already dealt with this, then in a very short time. There is no need to study complex schemes, but at the same time it is necessary to study the sighting complex, but they forgot to put it on. Why I said this in the previous message. M982 Excalibur wants not only a thrower for shooting (in this case, the M777A2 howitzer), but also a guidance tool (laser illumination of the target), and even without Enhanced Portable Inductive Artillery Fuze Setter does not want to work. And to get high accuracy, it would be necessary to have a digital fire control system, which just greatly increases the accuracy of shooting, but it was also not installed. It looks like they put the M777, and this is a bare platform.

There are some nazis in Ukraine, as there are some in russia, Britain, or US. Problem is, they usually don't advertise their presence like that, because this is generally frowned upon, and is actually punished by Ukrainian law.
Renting the flat without any furniture? Quite unlikely, haven't seen that even once, and it's super clean, so definitely just after a renovation.

One thing to know for sure - no Ukrainian human would ever write "Слава УкраинЫ", this is nonsense, and everyone who's ever been in Ukraine knows how to say and write it properly.

This is different. People usually modify the words or names to imply some meaning, to joke, or put down. Writing the patrioric message wrong on purpose seems extremely unlikely. Moreover, in russian, you can say "слава россии", it would work as both "Слава кому?" and "Слава чего?". In Ukrainian this would not work at all: "Слава Україні" vs "Слава України". Any Ukrainian citizen knows the correct way to write and say the phrase is the first one.

Russia has started the Donbass conflict 8 years ago, russia has supplied weapons and people to feed this conflict. Now they cam to Ukraine with full forces, and are destroying our cities, and claiming it's Ukraine's fault? What kind of a twisted thinking is that?
Biolabs topic was beaten to the death, they were general purpose biloabs, every country in the world has them, even freaking russia. Moreover, some viral cultures were imported directly from russia.
As for training our forces by outside contraxctors? Don't see anythign wrong with that, a country with a strong army is a safe country.

In the end, russia was the one to open aggression. It was the one to go to another country and start the war. It was the one who shot over 2 THOUSAND rockets onto Ukraine's territory, and it was the one who destroyed Mariupol. There can be no guessing who is the bad guy here.

Then russia took Crimea by force (don't even start with the fake voting), then it came to Donbass, and ruined the two prefectly fine regions of Ukraine. Now russia has fully invaded my country on a basis of... who knows really, the claims change twice a day. Just because yuor ruler wanted more land.
russian tv spews hatred, saying Ukrainians are not even a nation, that we are the "lesser men", that we should be eradicated, destroyed.

So you know what, it's not the TV, radios, or any other propaganda. It's only what russia does that made me hate it.

What's happening right now is not some kind of a fucking joke. People are dying, both russian and Ukrainian. This is purely because russia came to our land. We have lived peacefully before that.

Take a look at the house I was talking about. Just take a minute and really look at it. This is Irpin, near Kyiv. The aunt did and still is speaking russian, never hurting a fly in her life. russia came in and bombed the shit out of her house. This seems okay for you?

I'm just surprised what exactly they think they are doing there.. This Bazilus comment caught me off guard - I mean one thing is to talk about their point of view for the war... Blame west or Ukraine ... we have heard it all...

But whatever the reason, they still invaded.. They still went for Kiev and they still proudly boasted about destroying UA military and airforce.... They literally have admitted of bombing Ukraine. I mean we have eyes on what is going on 24/7 .... And Bazilus comes here and implies its all lies

Whatever he believes was the cause of war doesn't lessen what has been done... Or are they seriously still trying to push propaganda of how Ukraine bombed their own cities ... while incidentally they had moved their bombers, ships and military near Ukraine for peace keeping missions of handing out bread......

Who knows? Denial is strong in russia these days, because it's getting harder and harder to cope with the reality. It clashes with what the propaganda is saying, and the war goals change every week, so people don't even know what the mission is anymore. I think Katz outlined it all pretty nicely in his yesterday's video, methodically going over the goals of this "operation". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvmHfp-YtCo

People with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) often play the victim while being the agressor. (full analysis)
Putinism is a bit like the NPD, it's the same symptoms:

  • Grandiose sense of self and an unlimited need for power.
  • Lack both self-awareness and self-reflection.
  • Difficulty being aware of their behaviors and how these affect others. They might not be able to “see it” even when you point it out to them.
  • They might feel attacked when you contradict them or tell them they’ve done something wrong. This just doesn’t align with their inflated sense of self.
  • The tendency to have low introspection combined with an exaggerated sense of superiority may leave them unable to see the situation in a way that doesn’t fit their worldview.

If the pro-Putin people still want to be seen as victims, they can say they suffer of mental illness, no one will object.

The concern is that Putin and his supporters are playing the victim as they invade Ukraine.

Sorry for your profile, but it doesn't even compare to the aggressiveness you can see in online games. So cheer up (for your Steam profile, not about the war).
If you are still worried about your profile, try to understand that it is painless compared to the suffering of Ukrainians.
You are among the lucky ones, you're not on the real front. And if you were, at least you would have a soldier's weapon, civilians don't have that luxury. I don't know if you really think this war is just, let's assume you do. Just by seeing the reality, you could have a nervous breakdown or a post-traumatic stress disorder.

You have more confidence in a dictator's speech than in reality.

@Bazilus
I've seen enough death on both sides.

Don't lie about that. Russian media show only a small part of your military losses. And about the Ukrainians (if this isn't a fake news), Russian media only show what serves Putin's purpose.

I'm AFRAID that although "you fear to" isn't listed in Google Translate, it's still acceptable for a movie like "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring".
You get caught trusting Google Translate without check.
Courage, responding if the Russian media still calls it a special military operation is less scary than waking up a Balrog (the thing that lies in the darkness of Khazad-dûm).

Russia will also have difficulty trading from the sea to neutral countries.
Shipping insurance premiums are also tragic for bringing the war to the Black Sea.
These will not be expected to be bypassed from the sea when they are adapted to the Baltic Sea as well.
I am not sure to what extent prices will be affected by the fact that the logistics receptacles will change dramatically from east to west.
Russia Gov began with the ”Z” scene in XYZ. It probably won't end until 💤.

Isn't it time for the Russian people to purge a government that has betrayed its people?
The future will be worse than prices this and unless an immediate ceasefire is issued, it will be hell in six months in the winter.
If not, perhaps it is time for India and China to act against Russia.

We have to only hope Russia can't hold out this attack and Ukraine crushes them, so they can't gloat for whatever measly victory they want to claim in Donbas. The ruined economy in EU, UA and Russia is solely on Kremlins and Putins shoulders.

The reality, however, is such a situation.
The Middle East is also making a lot of noise about the fact that Russia has acted like a declaration of war.
The situation is more imminent and irreversible for Russia than anticipated.
It has destroyed its own routes for landing and transporting goods from neutral countries.
The economic blockade and nationalization of the Russian people is accelerating, draining and exploiting their vitality.
The traitor in Russia is probably the government itself.
It is natural to assume that these are also problems due to the mobilization of Syrian mercenaries of Russian forces in Ukraine and the lack of control due to the depletion of manpower on the Syrian side.
A year from now, Russia may be off the map.

Purge a government? How do you imagine it? By democratic procedures? All recent elections in Putin's Russia were fabricated. Make a revolution? All military and police forces in Russia are in Kremlin's hands. It's not like Ukraine in 2014. Russian military power is huge and Putin will use it against Russian people without hesitation. There is a hope that Kremlin's elites will make a coup d'etat. Or Putin will die because of some disease. It's more likely than a revolution or removal by elections.

Any coup as Q already said would lead just to another of his supporters or someone as bad as him taking over even if opposed.
KGB and Kremlin is filled with power hungry psychos who would do anything to be able to control the amount of resources and power the government has now. Its perfect place to grow their own personal empires, wealth and influence. None of them care about the countries well being. Everyone has their money outside of the country.

Its rotten to the core. Of course I agree, some purge of government never will happen. But coup wouldn't change anything either.

At least we have democracy and we can actually vote which of the incompetent idiots will represent us. You have a sick dictator at power who murders and jails opposition. And above all finances terrorism. I mean Kremlin literally belittles and oppresses anyone who opposes them, but hey - everyone else is bad but not them.. At times it's like a broken record...... Whatever Kremlin does, you try to turn it around and blame on everyone else...

For example there where Russian political party that was against taking down the occupation monument. As they are minority they can't do shit. That's how democracy works. But of course you would have voted for murdering every one of them so there is no opposition right ? Is that "not belittling" in your playbook ?

It would be better to have them be part of another country's territory anyway, if only to call "Putin dead" and attach "new Putin" over the people.

If it is the Russian people who are the "serfs" of the "Russian government," and if the government plays the Russian Empire as an anachronism, then it would be better for the people of Russia to be the "serfs" of the "Russian government," than for the people of Russia to be the "serfs" of the "Russian government" and to try to do the work of governing the country.
📝Крепостное право в России

It would be much more humane to have people from other countries as officials and governments, rather than trying to govern the country as Russian citizens.

They (Putin, oligarchs, or government agencies, etc.) are simply repeating the composition that denies communism, in which royalty and czars seize power and exploit the people.
Even the military has lost over 30% of its ground troops deployed to Ukraine due to unreasonable and unworkable orders.
Thirty percent means fighting eight hours a day, 24 hours a day in three shifts.
What would happen as a reality if that means fighting 24 hours a day in two shifts at 12 hours a day?
If the opponent is the same, you would win.
With unstoppable reinforcements, it is unrealistic.

The troops on the ground can no longer afford to rest, and if they do not withdraw at once, they will be in a state of collapse.
However, if there is a ceasefire and these troops and soldiers return to Moscow, the revolution will take place as it is.
In other words, Russia now seems to be like a dying old man with dementia who keeps prolonging his life by increasing the number of external enemies.

The Russian people need to make efforts to hasten that period.
It should be resolved before there is no place on earth left to lament the worst.

I mean, if they will make a proper trial, with concrete evidence - sure, go for it. Ukraine will also put russian soldiers on trial, at least those who were documented to have commited war crimes.

But, knowing russia, if they even make a trial, it will be a circus, like with all political trials in the past 10-20 years.

Permalink

Yeah, sadly we know a fair trial wont ever happen. Corruption and basically dictatorship of Putin wouldn't bring anything fair to the trial. They would make up some theater of "dictatorship" and just murder everyone over falsified proof. And you can't even rely on people to ask for fair trial - they have been zombified to think everyone who is not Russians are evil. And Ukrainians are supposedly the root of all evil in their eyes.

I think it stems down to being a citizen of a large country. They are arrogant enough to not care about the outside world but susceptible enough to believe anything they are told about the outside world. Mix it with citizens being poor and oppressed enough not to visit the world and you have a formula for disaster. Nationalistic, racist and all around hateful bunch of people. And on the other hand you have rich and arrogant who live in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and have their lives too good to care for outside world making them arrogant and impressionable. And once their favorite country in the world gets shit for doing something they didnt know or care about, of course they will believe its the evil west oppressing the poor Russia. And this is why neighboring countries have problem with this as well - hateful arrogant people attacking others just for not speaking Russian... while they themselves are drunk, stupid and arrogant. But hey, at least they are nationalistic.

And before Bazilus runs in to say how I am generalizing - Of course I am not meaning everyone is like that. There are enough intelligent people who know whats going on outside the country and can form their opinions. But the majority of this arrogance is IMO why Putin can be so successful. He feeds his power on this. And so does Kremlin and whoever will replace Putin.

Allegedly Russians have "evacuated" Azov man to Russia and has started talking of how they are about to refuse to do exchange of POVs if they are classified as war criminals. So typical of Russia to stab someone in the back again. If this fact will be approved then it's just another deal Putin will have backed out of in the middle of doing.

Former Russian colonel criticizes the country's invasion of Ukraine on state television

In rare public criticism of the conduct of Russia's military operations in Ukraine, a former senior Russian officer has warned on state television that the situation will get worse.

(excerpt)

This former high-ranking Russian military official has been aware of the reality of the situation since around February and has been issuing warnings on TV.
And this time, too, he seems to have been conveying the "reality" to Russian households through state-run broadcasting.

This is the achievement of Ukraine's national security.
Let us wait for the day when Russia comes back to reality.

People not understanding what's the problem - why would Americans want to bomb them all.

Then the soviet union fell and everyone realized it was all sick lies. No one wanted to bomb them, but of course dictatorship requires population of stupid and afraid people for it to work. I am not sure about that
In my opinion I believe that every country has the government that they deserve.
A given government is in power because the people has elected or is tolerating it.

Well that Putin got into the position to cause such harm, I'd at least partly blame on us in the West too. We could have done more and better, to prevent a situation where the Russians were desperate for some "strong leader figure".

I am interested in hearing your thoughts.
You are right that some things could have been handled better.
I understand that in the late 90's the West could have tried more to gain a closer relationship with the Russians while Yeltsin/ Gorvachov were willing. Even Putin was more moderate at that time.
But I guess that you dont erase out years of suspicion on both sides just like that.
Also Bush's announcement that Georgia and Ukraine can join NATO could have been more tactful.

We will never know how an alternate timeline where the Western and Russia partnership would turn out.

Margarita Simonyan called the minister who betrayed Russia: "What do you want?"

Margarita Simonyan, reflecting on the life of the country in the 90s, reminded of the only ones who lived well. As a rule, they are now on the other side of the ocean. Among them is a minister from the 90s, who communicated with American chefs from the position: "What do you want?"

RT editor Margarita Simonyan on the air of the program "60 minutes" explained what a "short respite" the United States would again like in relation to Russia. The one that was in the 90s, when we all lived, to put it mildly, not in the best way:

"As for Biden. Of course he would, and they all would... Moreover, they are working on it every day, every hour, every year - all these Bulk and all foreign agents, whom we finally began to call foreign agents, exist with their money only for us to turn... like him (Biden. - Ed.) said, in a short respite after Gorbachev."

The only question is, for whom is this respite, Simonyan continued:

"This is not a respite for us, but for them. Did you have a good life in the 90s? No, of course not. And I don't really. And I do not know a single person, to be honest, who lived better in the 90s than now. Maybe, except for the Minister of Foreign Affairs Kozyrev, whom, probably, they would like to see as a minister now... Who now lives in Miami and who communicated with them exclusively from the position of "What do you want?"

Of course, the United States had a respite, and it consisted in plundering Russia:

"They took away any of our resources. Remember how we started fighting in the 2000s, when Putin became our president. How much shouting there was! And about Yukos, and about Sakhalin-1 and Sakhalin-2... It's not even remembered now. And it is necessary to remember!" - emphasized the editor-in-chief of the TV channel.

I thought there was no war at all....
But in Russia it is a war when it is convenient for Russian propaganda as with everything else.

How convenient it is to tear out the pieces from the context that are needed without laying out the entire interview. Or Poland, Slovenia, Germany, and do not forget about the United States is not a member of NATO, it seems not, they are its participants, but arms supplies from these countries are being conducted, than this is not a war with the whole of NATO, but only with the hands of Ukrainian soldiers, although Biden needs it, he is ready to fight to the last Ukrainian a soldier, but he won't send his own at the same time.

Both Yeltsin and Putin had proposed Russia join NATO in the past.. What a different world it would be now if that idea had been encouraged. But it was never going to happen because some very powerful people had a different agenda. Some very interesting answers can be found in a BBC documentary "The Power of Nightmares" You can watch it on youtube or find a synopsis on wiki if you are inclined.

Thanks for the recommendation melisand, I will have a look.
Things would have been different for sure better or worse we will never know.
Powerful people indeed had an agenda that stopped Russia from joining ( From what I remember is that Russia expected to just be able to join and NATO is all about being on the same wavelength and adjust your institutions accordingly which I doubt Russia would just want to do.)
Finally would like to make the point that Russia would also have had an agenda for joining NATO.

I'd be interested in your opinion if you get to it.
I think Yeltsin intended to transition Russia to some form of democracy along with a market economy and understood that it was going to take some time. My understanding was that Clinton was very interested in helping Russia get to that point and was working towards that goal with Russian leaders, but the ball got dropped along the way. Russia (and Yeltsin) surely needed a lot of support in order not to turn into the wild west both economically and politically after the dissolution of the communist regime - and the internal backlash that caused. The obvious explanation was that Clinton got distracted by his struggle with internal politics at home. But it looks like other influences were already in place that were working to stop him.
After all, the allies bent over backward to help Germany and Japan get back on their feet, and that in order to avoid a repeat performance of very egregious behavior. So why was that logic not applied to Russia as well. It's difficult to make sense of it.

At first the population didn't do a lot to shake Putin off, and right now it's gonna be quite hard to kick him out. I'm betting on either him dying of natual disease cause, or from an armed coup. Truly bloodless change of regime is almost impossible in this situation.
Still, along with a big chunk of "vatniks" there are good, peaceful people who just want to live calmly. I'm worried about those.

Had a goal of halving the potential border with NATO ---> NATO border will be increased x2.

If the border has increased, then we need to look at what will happen on the territory, since all the exercises have already been held, including Sweden and Finland, or have we already forgotten about it?

Wanted to Demilitarize Ukraine ---> Ukraine is flush with weapons now.

It is littered with scrap metal. Old and outdated stuff is pushed there, which still needs to be disposed of. The newly delivered M777 have already passed this procedure. The Ukrainian battery of 155-millimeter M777 howitzers manufactured by the United States in the area of the settlement of Podgornoye has been disposed of. https://eadaily.com/ru/news/2022/05/18/raketnye-voyska-nakryli-batareyu-gaubic-m777-proizvodstva-ssha-minoborony

Intended on having a quick victory ---> Going to be awhile and defeat is inevitable.

Where it was written about a quick victory. Stop writing it all the time, there was no such thing. There are plans and they are adhered to, sometimes there are shortcomings or unaccounted-for factors that affect both one side and the other. According to the plan, there are 100 tons of diesel, but in reality a Caliber has arrived and there are no these 100 tons.

Wanted to absorb Ukraine into its influence ---> pushed Ukraine more than ever towards the West.

Unless at least one document says about the seizure. It is written about disarmament, but then let them do it themselves somehow, although it will not be very clear how it will be, and some are already thinking about the partition of Ukraine.

Ruined his own economy ---> Most EU countries will be free of Russian gas and oil by 2027.
(Can read a lot about that in Belgian and Dutch news these days.)

Yes, there is such a thing, there will be a drop in GDP, there will be only 3% growth. And they said even earlier that they would refuse Gas and Oil, so it's not a secret. Although companies open ruble accounts to pay for gas, they do not want to, but they do. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-17/eni-to-open-euro-ruble-accounts-with-russia-s-gazprombank-l3a8sbbp https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-17/eu-says-opening-ruble-accounts-for-russian-gas-breaks-sanctions?srnd=premium-europe

USA is laughing because they have been given a perfect excuse to break Russian's back militarily speaking.

I would like to see how they will break, just for this purpose it is necessary to force them to stop producing military products, and with this there are several difficulties and the biggest difficulty is minimal cooperation with other countries, no, there is cooperation within the country, but with foreign firms at least, it's just that since 2014 the military began to introduce and do not accept weapons. https://topwar.ru/196372-krupnaja-partija-osnovnyh-boevyh-tankov-t-90m-proryv-otpravlena-v-vojska.html

Russia's posturing as 2nd biggest army in the world is ruined, everyone knows now it is just a paper bear.

Show who positioned the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as the 2nd largest army in the world. If Business Insider, then they consider the software only to be driven by one tricky formula without taking into account part of the terms, and they take part of the terms with multipliers and use only publicly available information. Comparisons of armies of different countries of the world in terms of military power and strength is not entirely correct, since it is only possible to determine whose army is stronger in practice and on the battlefield, and the amount of equipment, troops and the size of the military budget is only a theory. Nevertheless, various ratings covering these parameters allow us to assess the approximate state of the armies of the world. And since the group of only 200,000 people who take part, preliminary forecasts and analysis of losses according to the data presented showed that by March 1, 2022, 45,000 losses and then, in theory, we need to think about withdrawal and replenishment, and for some reason an attack and blocking of armed groups is being carried out. This is where the part began to ask questions about the reality of these losses and how many of them actually are.

All its soft power influence that it had build up over the last 15 years is gone now.
And he managed to wake up / unify NATO from its slumber.

Soft power is a force in which weapons are not used, but politicians who support the Russian Federation work. But here, if they don't want to listen, they can already use brute force. It is interesting how the awakening from hibernation happened, the arms concerns want to have time to share the pie and bite off the fattest pieces, like Slovakia with its 130 million euros for the delivered C-300 or the Swedes with their helmets for 9 million euros for 5,000 helmets.

Putin deserves the Darwin Award for sure.

At least they found out what they give the Darwin Prize for. But as I remember that you wanted to have an operation, so Biden is really waiting for you when you come and do it. And so if there is an accusation of the president, it means that this president is doing everything right, due to the fact that the opponent wants to look like "Whatever you want", and they show him the middle finger and indicate their conditions.

Finland and the Baltics have been having exercises with some NATO member for over 20 years. Nothing new there.
I think it is you who has forgotten about the Russian "exercises"
Also your argument is nonsense since the point is that NATO border with Russia will double if Finland joins and Putin made a big thing about not wanting to bordered by NATO members.

Outdated tech? Stingers sure, M777 that is an old reliable piece of equipment that has had several upgrades over the years.
But dont worry, Ukraine will receive more and more NATO standard tech over the coming months if necessary.
On an extra note, so you are saying that Russia is being held off and pushed back by old and outdated scrap?
Great argument.

There was no such thing??? Really
Rush Kyiv, capture the airport and drop in supplies and heavy equipment to capture the city and topple the government.
Even Zelensky has said that one the first few days, the Russians came close to capturing him in Kyiv. There is more than enough evidence that Russia tried to push for a quick sub week victory. You are also one of the people who believe that phase one Kyiv attack was just a diversion???
Sacrifice 1000's of vehicles and 8.000 soldiers in a diversion? you are mad.

Russia wanted to topple the government, turn Ukraine into a puppet state for Russia and create Nova Russia province in the South.
That I would call absorbing Ukraine.

I am aware that EU countries open accounts in Ruble to pay for gas and oil which they still need.
It was stated that EU wants to get rid of Russian oil and gas by 2027 - 2030. Depending on the country.
Impossible for EU to just drop Russian oil and gas in a year without hurting themselves too much.

No need for Russia to stop producing.
Ukraine will outmatch ( with the help of the West) Russia pretty soon when it comes to munitions.
Russia has already shown it fails miserably in logistics. And Russia can make more tanks but it takes 90 days and it will be the same inferior tech with none of the upgrades. ( Russian info here)

Are you saying that Russia predicted to have 45.000 losses?? I call BS on that then.

I think it is you who has forgotten about the Russian "exercises"

And the list of these exercises is possible, but without taking into account the "Iron Wolf-2021", it's still Lithuania. It's just NATO exercises almost every month.

Also your argument is nonsense since the point is that NATO border with Russia will double if Finland joins and Putin made a big thing about not wanting to bordered by NATO members.

Yes, there will be a longer border, but in the current situation, if there are no new bases, the situation will not change in general.

Outdated tech? Stingers sure, M777 that is an old reliable .......

Sorry, but remove the M777 from this list. It needs to be repaired or changed. They have already been damaged or even destroyed part of them. And if the rollback hydraulic cylinder gets damaged, then it can only be changed. As for the FIM-92 Stinger, it is necessary to shoot a triangle at the target for its guaranteed destruction or defeat, which is quite difficult with the great dominance of aviation. And if the flight altitude is 5 km or more, then it will not even be possible to reach the height due to the fact that only 3.8 km maximum.
I'm not worried about deliveries. If you want to carry, then carry, just do not forget about those who have been trained, if you give a monkey a grenade, then the probability that the check will be pulled out is minimal, but the fact that this grenade will be thrown is very high, and perhaps a check will be thrown, and the grenade will be left.

On an extra note, so you are saying that Russia......

Deterrence and repression. You know the plans of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, then write them, I would also like to know them. If a decision is made to withdraw due to the current situation, then such a decision means, if a decision is made to withdraw due to rearmament and replenishment of personal assets, then this is different.

There was no such thing??? Really
Rush Kyiv, capture the airport and drop.......

And did they enter Kiev, there is no need to lie, I do not remember this due to the fact that it did not happen. Neither Boryspil nor Zhuliany were captured. Not to be confused with Antonov Airport (Gostomel). Further, transoport planes did not arrive at the airport. There was a landing from helicopters.
Well, why not donate 1000 pieces of equipment of the armed forces of Ukraine, it still needs to be dragged for scrap. And why 8000, and not 30,000, if we really talk, then we need to say big numbers, it's still a lie, but it's more scary this way. If you look, then about 3,300 total since the beginning of hostilities.

Russia wanted to topple the government, turn Ukraine into a puppet state for Russia and create Nova Russia province in the South.
That I would call absorbing Ukraine.

Read the plans, they are listed and available. No one is going to overthrow or change the government of Ukraine, although Zelensky has already prepared conditions in the EU for bringing him to a sacred sacrifice.

Impossible for EU to just drop Russian oil and gas in a year without hurting themselves too much.

This was voiced from the very beginning when sanctions were imposed, but apparently the EU leadership decided to go to the prince and imposed sanctions, then said "Solve the problems yourself." This is certainly an interesting solution. First, create problems, and then force to solve the introduced problems by those who suffer the most from the introduced solutions and say that the problems need to be solved. But in order not to have an easy solution, then force the solution of problems to also keep sanctions.

Ukraine will outmatch ( with the help of the West) Russia pretty soon when it comes to munitions.

In order to surpass, it is necessary either to bring ready-made or to make on the spot. The factory is not done in 1 hour, this is not a computer game. If there is a delivery, then Iskander or Caliber will arrive at the warehouse and there will be no warehouse, so they have already done it near Lviv. 10 calibers and there is no warehouse with fresh delivery.

Russia has already shown it fails miserably in logistics. And Russia can make more tanks but it takes 90 days and it will be the same inferior tech with none of the upgrades. ( Russian info here)

Forgot to attach the link. If it's about the T-72B3, then it's an upgrade, yes, it's cheap, but it's not always expensive, it means good. Sometimes a product is made well from the very beginning and it does not make sense to redo it more globally, but it is better to do it in a new way due to the fact that it will be cheaper this way.

Are you saying that Russia predicted to have 45.000 losses?? I call BS on that then.

Summary of losses of Russian troops from the General Staff of Ukraine
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the morning of May 19 reported that the total combat losses of the Russian military from 24.02 to 19.05 approximately amounted to:
personnel — about 28,500 (+200) people;
tanks — 1254 (+3);
armored combat vehicles — 3063 (+20);
artillery systems – 595 (+9);
MLRS — 199 (+0);
air defense systems — 93 (+2);
aircraft — 203 (+1);
helicopters — 167 (+0);
Operational-tactical level UAV — 455 (+14);
cruise missiles — 103 (+1);
ships /boats — 13 (+0);
motor vehicles and tankers — 2157 (+20);
special equipment/ special equipment — 43.

In addition, the headquarters stated that "the greatest enemy losses (over the past day) were observed in the Slavyansk, Krivoy Rog and Zaporozhye directions."

"And did they enter Kiev, there is no need to lie"

---> "Russian troops made two failed attempts to storm the presidential compound in the early hour of 24 February while Mr Zelensky sought shelter with his wife Olena Zelenska and two children, aged 17 and nine."
https://inews.co.uk/news/world/zelensky-almost-captured-russian-forces-first-hours-war-1603773
This was global news.

This also clearly proofs Russian intent of toppling Ukrainian government.
Which is logical, because the quickest way to end the war is by capturing the government.

Russian plans leak?
https://nypost.com/2022/03/01/belarus-dictator-alexander-lukashenko-appeared-to-show-russian-plans-to-invade-moldova-through-ukraine/

"In order to surpass, it is necessary either to bring ready-made or to make on the spot. The factory is not done in 1 hour, this is not a computer game"
The West has a huge stockpile of munitions and equipment especially the USA.
The western factories keep on producing munitions as we speak same as Russia.
Western munition factories are in greater number than the Russian munition factories.
If the West runs out of a certain component such as chips they make a call to Taiwan and a day or 2 later Taiwanese chips arrive where they are needed. Russia doesn't produce most of its own components and at the moment the countries with these components wont ship them to Russia.
Given a long enough time line, it is inevitable that Russia is going to be outmatched when it comes to munitions and equipment.
Russia's only hope is that somehow for some reason the West stops sending munitions to Ukraine.

"preliminary forecasts and analysis of losses according to the data presented showed that by March 1, 2022, 45,000 losses and then"

Thanks for the info on Russian losses but I am interested in where you get the number 45.000 from?
At the present time it is considered that Russia has lost 1/3 of its invading force.
Which will be at 70000 then seeing how Russia started with about 200.000 men.
( note that these are all dead soldiers but a combination of Killed and Wounded)

Yes, the yellow press. If you want, you can make about 100 pieces of such news right now, and they will be different.
If the special forces were working, then they would have taken him or the order to kill him, then they killed him, although just killing with capture will not do anything, due to the fact that those who are on the ground of a military clash do not really want to follow the orders of Ukraine. And so, according to this attack, it is necessary to look at those who benefit, and one of them is Arsen Avakov, who possessed (I don't know now, I need to clarify) personal military forces.
And so there is another option. If the situation is bad, then show that measures were taken at one point, then it will be possible to direct it in another direction. If you make a throw-in about the fact that they wanted to attack the president, then you can remove the question about the beginning of a Special operation, and this is about the fact that foreign intelligence does not know how to work.

Russian plans leak?

Yes, the video is very beautiful. On the map of economic development, without being accompanied by the voice of what they really say, we let music and text, but the text can be absolutely any, the main thing is that there is an agenda for the situation.
Would you read this meeting https://president.gov.by/en/events/soveshchanie-s-chlenami-soveta-bezopasnosti-i-rukovodstvom-soveta-ministrov-1646152770 he doesn't need a war. Moreover, even the article says "ALLEGEDLY", and they immediately realized that this was not true. Like the Belarusian journalist Tadeusz Giczan (a very Belarusian name) working from Poland (NEXTA edition) could come up with this due to the fact that Transnistria does not really want to listen to Chisinau. After all, CEPA has already submitted a plan for the division of Russia, but the plan failed, and here any fuck will come down to get money, the main thing on the agenda.
And so when 40,000 fighters hang on the left flank and can reach Kiev, then either you send reinforcements in the form of 100,000 to the LDPR, exposing your flank, or you leave it in place to cover Kiev itself, but without reinforcements for the troops who are being pressed.

The West has a huge stockpile of munitions............ for some reason the West stops sending munitions to Ukraine.

Well, there are the necessary goods in another country, the warehouse is full. There is an opportunity to transport it, transport capabilities allow. But for this we also need an intermediate warehouse where weapons will be accumulated. Which will then be used. If it came and immediately left, then this is one thing, but there is accumulation and transfer, and this is at least a few hours. At this moment, the rocket calmly reaches and hits the targets. Satellite Cosmos-XXXX (satellite number) Of course, it will not tell you anything, but these are satellites of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, this is intelligence, and this can be prepared in advance and take the necessary actions. The better the intelligence, the less fog of war.
Chips from Taiwan. Neon, like the ruby substrate, were supplied from the Russian Federation and Ukraine, there are no reserves, but for how long they will last. Of course, you can buy in China, but even there the prices have become not small. And without Neon, the laser cannot draw a pattern on the substrate, and without a pattern there will be no chip.
Perhaps I didn't write to you, but I wrote earlier. Military products in Russia are not made in cooperation with other countries, such as in the United States. This has already been done since 2014, and some had to be completely redone with a change of the element base, and some had to be done with the launch of production in Russia. Just this is done so that when the technological chain breaks, the entire production does not suffer completely. If you do everything yourself, then there is no dependence on the fact that someone will not bring the necessary parts, although it sometimes comes out more expensive, but there is also no dependence.

Thanks for the info on Russian losses but I am interested in where you get the number 45.000 from?

That's just how everyone writes about the enemy's losses, but no one writes about their losses. In reality, there are about 3,300 losses. And so I just followed the path of English journalists and brought the figures of losses from the ceiling, the main thing was to show that there are a lot of them, it's still not necessary to prove that this is a real figure. In fact, they can be found out, but it is necessary to conduct analytical work. That's just 3300 is from the analytical work.

It only affects you if you plan to attack anyone from the alliance. Don't start wars and NATO literally doesn't affect you. This NATO excuse has been laughed at by everyone in Europe due to it's fallacy

When was that? And what strange reasons were those you speak of? Never heard of that story, there never have been serious approaches or disussions, though there has been indeed a cooperaton between NATO and Russia. But you kinda blew it after annexing crimea

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia%E2%80%93NATO_relations

And do be fair, there were no serious discussions for Ukraine to join NATO or EU anytime soon, but now that Russia started the invasion you kinda drove the West to "expand".

Not to speak of NATO being brain dead, because there has not been any thread in a long time, but that changed too thanks to Putin. Putin is the resurector of NATO.

1954 USSR asked but they were fully expecting a NO because NATO was about keeping the Soviets out, The Germans down and Europe free.
USSR really just asked so they would have a pretext to start their own Warsaw pact.
And when those little countries got freed from it. They were more than happy to run towards NATO after all the communist abuse they received.

In the 1990's they came a looking again but USA was saying no.
Also because Russia felt that it was big and special and didnt want to go through the waiting process and aligning their institutions with NATO.

NATO worked because all members have the same vision and goals, Russia wouldnt have fit in seeing how their believe are drastically different.

NATO also became a relic really after the fall of the USSR.
Useful for Putin to scare Russians and get him his depotism at home.
Much like North Korea does with America.
But thank you to Putin for blowing new life into NATO.

So because the Soviets have been rejected by NATO in 1954, just after Stalin died (who was not much better than Hitler) who ruled the Soviet Union for like 3 decades, and Russia also been rejected just after the Soviet Union broke apart, you guys are playing the soreheads and blaming the West to be evil and what not? I mean can you blame them, in all seriousness, to have neglected such proposals at that point in time?

If when Putin was in charge the first time, he had a serious ambition to join NATO, it probably could have happened, if there were any signs of democratic structures in the country. But to my knowledge there hasn't been any ambition as this mofo is still in his imperialistic Soviet thinking. He's always been and it shows.

Russia thinks they were the only ones to have won the second World War. And it's such a hypocrisy you admire that mass murderer Stalin, who was the same kind of piece of shit as Hitler. No wonder you guys stand with Putin who is the same bastard leader. The irony is you're saying your fighting nazis and bring freedom to the world, but it's the opposite of what you're claiming. you're terrorising your brother country with Nazi like actions, even have your nazi like wannabe swastika Z symbol and now wonder why the world is against you. You guys certainly have your own interpretation of what fascism is supposed to be, contrarary to what it actually is. Russia obviously didn't learn from the actions of Nazi Germany, instead they still glorify their shitty Soviet attitude. Russia could have done much better after the fall of the Soviet Republic, it's a shame of what has become of it.

Russia has never declared that it win the Second World War, then our now country did not exist.

Only major difference between soviet union and Russia for the most part is the fact no one is under your occupation anymore. You so like to talk about good old times and putin is literally playing by communist playbook. There really is no surprise Gorbachev was refused the idea of joining the NATO. No one would say it our loud but just because you let go all the occupied countries didn't mean anything had changed in the ideology and government. And that is more and more clearer by day. Countries around Russia need protection from you. Call it Soviet Union or Russia, doesn't change much... the power hungry regime that has nor regard towards human life is alive and strong

With disgust more like. Sad to see Russians and neighboring countries to have to endure Kremlin and its fascistic regime.

How can you say that?
When it is you who always goes " They must be lying" if sources don't fit your narrative.
Blaming others for conjecture while using conjecture yourself all the time.

Ah yeah, I stick by that.
Have seen enough of you to come to the conclusion that you approve of rape, murder, and destruction by your continuous silence and calling it lies.

And your continuous silence. Proofs my point.
I just call you out on your twisted views
Having silence about the atrocities your goverment commits makes you just as guilty as they are imo.
If you cant handle that. That is your problem.

Yes NATO has expended Eastwards.
But never in their time has there been a troop build up past Germany.
So when Putin says he is threatened by NATO, he means he is threatened that more his homebase sees the freedoms and right we have and fears that there will be more and more demand for democracy and rights by the Russian people.

Well, if inflation is 15% and the refusal of food with heating is prosperity, then yes, the population of these countries is getting richer.

Freedom that there should be one Gay, one disabled and one with a different skin color in this, even if he does not know how to work. If they fail, then only a white heterosexual man can be fired, and the rest cannot be touched. Then the question arises, why do they have more rights than this man, in what is he worse?
