Won't say if pre-ordering is a good idea, since that's none of my business... :)
But you'll get a better deal trading for it, as the "Premium Edition" is about USD30 in the Russian steam store. If you're not a fan of trading, Nuuvem is selling the base game for about USD30.

If you'd search the forum you'd realize someone asked the exact same question a few days ago and you'll got lots of opinions from different people there.
Also you can find the Premium Edition which includes the Season Pass for 15 TF2 Keys on Steamtrades.. about 30$. Just make sure you're trading with someone who's got some decent rep on there, but in the end that's a way better deal. If you never traded on Steamtrades it's pretty simple.. you can buy some TF2 keys from someone there.. normally about 1.85-1.90$ per key, then you can trade those keys to a Russian trader.. Voilà !! A nice ROW gift for you !!

All future content for about 6$ extra when you get the Premium Edition is a rip off ?? (yes about 6$ more when you get it thru key trades). If he was willing to spend 56$ on GMG and calling it 'not a bad deal' .. I would sure go for the Premium for 30$ instead of 24$ for Basic Edition alone.

It's not a rip off in that case but it's highly risky doing such trades. The next thing that would happen is his game getting revoked from his library and him coming here and post about it. Not like it's the first time i see it happening.
If you want to get something cheap, at least make sure it's safe to do the transaction. I test some key resellers that sell cheap keys at times, and i buy from them. I rather buy things this way, than trade with randoms, that at any given second could just do some cheap ass move on me and get double the profit out of a deal.
Not that i fall into scamming so easily, i just avoid stuff like that entirelly.

Unless you know a game is good.... no. Normally, it'd be a good idea to pre-order once reviews are out and you feel like you'd like to absolutely have the game day-1. But... this game isn't given to any reviewer (for apparent no reasons), and when reviewers aren't getting review copies, something weird is up, therefore pre-ordering the game is even a bigger risk than usual.

If you have the money and don't care if it turns out to be a shit then yes. Otherwise, no.

Was on the fence about this, reading some indepth reviews has swung me over to buying it. :) I'm very much a story girl so for me, the fact the world changes so much even without direct action by you makes this super exciting.
Even if the pc port is bad, people will mod it quickly to be better.

I need some opinions, should I pre-order it or not?
I've been tempted to hit checkout for 2 days now over at GreenManGaming, Shadow of Mordor + season pass for $56.24. Less than $60 not a bad deal.
What do you guys think?
