Should entered points in a deleted GA be replenished back to account?

You enter a GA and it is deleted. Obviously the points are lost. So should it return back to your daily account?

It is in the FAQ under Giveaways > Entering > How many points (P) can I receive? > "A giveaway you entered has been deleted. When this occurs, all users that joined the giveaway will have their points refunded.".

Yeah points aren't lost, they are returned to you if the giveaway is deleted or if you sync your account and get kicked from giveaways that you already own
