My mom had one on her brain like 15 years ago. Now she is fine, so there is hope :)

Hey, I did not have an aneurysm and I don't even make 10,000 steps a day. So at least you can laugh about that. :)

But seriously, I'm sorry to hear about that, but at least you are young and sounds like you have lots of time and spirit to work through the recovery process. I wish you the best of luck and welcome to the steamgifts community! :)

I hope you recover from this unfortunate problem. I am not sure I understand the second photo, is that a device to train your leg ?

Alright, thank you. I assume writing can be difficult but I hope you update us when you recover, I'm sure some people here would like to read good news about you. I personally would love to.

It's an AFO. (Ankle Foot Orthosis)

When you have limited control of your foot, it keeps it rigid so walking is a little easier. Keeps the foot from dragging as much and hopefully not getting caught on things.

I have a similar experience. I am a survivor of chronic carbon monoxide poisoning. This left me with drain bramage, cardiovascular damage and diabetes type 2. It has been a number of years since my injury. It takes time. Of course we will never be 100% what we were like before. It is a bit of an adventure if you have the right attitude. I have changed and learned much in the process. I am more compassionate, understanding, patient and I am less judgmental. I game and use gaming and tabletop gaming to continue my recover with my mental skills. The social aspect of gaming also has helped to provide moral support and others who are willing to be patient of my condition so that everyone can have fun with the game. I found that the speech recognition software Dragon has been useful in typing and working on written documents. Reading has changed for me. I try audio books. I can only read small portions of text. like a magazine or newspaper article. Have hope and hang in there. Goals are good motivations and to not be worried when things take longer than they seem. You will come through this experience, like me, a stronger and better person.

I am going to add you to my friends-list. I have a few games I can give you from your wishlist. From one brain damage survivor to another.

Wow... that's a tough thing to go through. I have a neurological disease myself-- Parkinson's Disease... and it hit me when I was 39... been living with it now 9 years and everyday is a struggle.

I'm proud of your 10,000 steps. You are a great role model for me as I need to get walking again;...

My heart goes out to you.
