Yes. I am so excited that they are finally making Dreamfall: Chapters I can't even express it properly!

I was overjoyed when they announced Chapters, but I have too many reservations about Kickstarter to back anything.

Did you finish Dreamfall? I did and I can't wait for the final part of the trilogy.

I've only played The Longest Journey. This seemed like a great game and really enjoyed it :)

But I have not had the pleasure of trying Dreamfall: The Longest Journey :(

Yeah. It's amazing. One of my favorite adventure games (along with the first one). The atmosphere, music, characters, locations - everything's great in this game. They are making another one. I can't wait for it.

Yeah it's not for the puzzles, it's because in this many years (I have it since a few years after launch) I started it various times and never got to the end...I really enjoy the first part where is all sci-fi, then I slowly lose interest. But this has to change, I love these games and I'll beat it soon or later

Seriously. That rubber ducky fishing pole. What was FunCom thinking???

Then again, the worst puzzle has to be from Gabriel Knight 3. You have to make a mustache for a fake disguise. How? You use duct tape to get fur off of a black cat, then combine with syrup to stick on your face.

Like the Broken Sword community's "Order of the Goat".

One of the most memorable "wtf" puzzles for me was the recipe one in Still Life.

These two games, while they each have a different "feel" to them, are quite enjoyable and leave a lasting impression. Once you do get around to playing them, you'll wish you had done it sooner so that you could replay them.

Longest Journey had a slightly messy ending and in Dreamfall I remember an annoying maze and a lot of backtracking through a city at one point...and a freaking cliffhanger. Otherwise I can't wait for the third part.

I didn't like interface in Dreamfall. Movement wasn't as intuitive as typical TPS game. And yeah, that cliffhanger... Hope we'll get all answers in Chapters.

Started playing it but then my system crashed and after reset I just didn't feel like replaying it to the moment I left it. But I did finish The Longest Journey and it was great <3

Yes! One of the best games I've ever played. I admit gameplay is dull and the fighting is retarded, but the storyline more than makes up for everything. The Longest Journey = best adventure series of all time imo.

I remember playing that game at my cousin's house! Long time ago. It was pretty good, I liked it, I might buy the new one that they are making.

I loved and hated Dreamfall like crazy! The Gameplay is rather dull and at some parts even anoying, but the story, gameworld and characters totaly made up for all of that. What I really hated was that huge cliffhanger with almost NO answered questions.. felt like its just half of a game and for years and years there was no sequel in sight.. now that the next part of the series is in developement, I´m gonna go back to just loving the game ;)

Of course :3 it's one of my favorite game (The first one TLJ).
I wait for the 3rd opus : ) (and am a backer of it , of course ^^)
But Dreamfall didn't touch me as much than first opus due to the gameplay problem everyone know ^^'.

The most important thing for me in the game is how they create a bi-universe credible.
Piece of art in my opinion :3.

The Steam Version of The longest Journey isn't language localized so i always had to use my old 4CD box for to play it ah ah ^^
But if some people here don't know it , and speak english, there is a Demo on steam too so ... take a look at this : ).

I finished both. TLJ was amazing. I loved it. Dreamfall was good but didn't have the same impact. Zoe came across a bit whiny compared to April. Also Dreamfall's combat was frustratingly clunky.

I'm looking forward to Chapters though cos one thing Funcom can do well is stories. It's one of the reasons I play The Secret World. I'd never played an MMO before that.
