if you are planning on cleanse.. go for whole shebang. no internet no pc/laptop no phone unless it's a necessity..no tv neither. This site among others may have been part of the reason for procrastination. going cold turkey till you achieve what ever you want to achieve will be hard but most effective.

Balance is important in life, and it's understandable to want to make a change when it feels like that balance is off. This site can become a huge time sink, and between the giveaways, the forums, the puzzles, etc., I find that I'm spending even more time here lately than I am gaming. (That's not necessarily a bad thing, mind you, but merely an observation.) With that said, instead of taking a leave of absence, there are also programs and browser extensions that you can use to block/limit your time on certain sites to avoid getting distracted. Whatever you decide to do, get that balance back, and good luck with your studies. :)
