My plan is to just be subscribed for 1 month and finish the game.
Origin says you can cancel anytime.
It's single player and the average play time is 20-30 hours
so should be able to finish before next month charge :)

If its a really great game, I can then wait a year or two to add it to my steam library at a lower price, just to have it.

While it does have good reviews from magzines and sites the Steam ones need to be taken with a large pinch of salt. Many reviews there with just 2 or 3 hours played which amounts to barely doing the intro and escaping the first planet.
Watched a stream of the first few hours and it does look good. Although the Tomb Raider/Uncharted platforming may put some people off.

yes but you also have to understand its an EA game, and people love to attack and talk shit about EA regardless of quality of their products, so for people to say an EA game is actually good, you can believe theyre saying it VERY grudgingly which speaks volumes for the quality of the product.
On the other hand, it is a star wars property and star wars fans will rate anything star wars insanely highly regardless of quality... theyre not a very discerning bunch of people.

It would be description of Tomb Raider as well, and many likes it for "only" those.
I'd want to have full SP RPG in SW world, but if we have good SP slasher / wall jumping game then I will grab it on promotion anyway.
