open origin-> click on Origin->application settings->Advanced and now check where your game has installed,go to that folder then open The sims 3 folder -> __Installer -> Sims3setup and this should fix your problem if not just delete the whole The sims 3 folder with SHIFT+DELETE button :)

Hey.
I bought The Humble Bundle last night and this morning I installed the Sims 3, I finished the download of the game, but then it crashed during the installation and I had to close down the installation box.. It was late at this point so I just turned off my computer and went to sleep.
Woke up the next morning and in the Origin client it comes up as 'Play' next to Sims 3.. I can play the actual game, but I cannot download the current patch, or download the add-ons which come with the bundle because apparently the game doesn't exist on my computer.
I tried to just click 'Uninstall' from the Origin client and that just took me to the normal place where I'd uninstall programs.. and The Sims 3 isn't in there.
I'm kind of new with Origin and I'm kind of currently stuck with what to do..
Any help?
Thanks.
