yeah, thats my worry too
many of these online only running up games tend to fall flat the fastest. I really dont want to be a negative nancy but unless some huge streamer picks this game up, this wont be reaching anywhere near even 20k downloads, let alone 100k

If that's the case, it would be better if they'd give out beta keys which would stay in the library afterwards. If it's just F2P, you may never uninstall it or you lose it.

I've had this game on my wishlist April and it looks pretty fun from what I've seen. But 100,000 is extremely high, some major IPs don't even get that. I know major IPs that only get a few thousand players. On top of it this is a skareboarding game which has a very limited audience as well. If they are serious about 100k or farewell then it probably isn't going to work out.

I'm just going to comment on my comment rather than add a new one to the thread. They reached more than 50k which honestly was way more than I expected. They probably would of had the 100k if it went on another week.

Can't believe they're just going to put the whole thing in the bin just because they didn't get 100k players in a week as a no-name game with no advertising other than random people posting threads like this one. Like, move on from scratch despite all the money that must've gone in to developing this one? Was looking forward to having a decent skating game after the Tony Hawk catastrophe but nope. Fuck that dev team is all I can say.

Yeah, they really didn't think this through correctly. 100k players or nothing is a retarded move especially for an indie game. They're making an indie game, not trying to bring Lawbreakers back from the dead.
