You're missing alotta guys, like RA Salvatore, Hohlbein, Brooks, Pratchett, and on, and on, and on ;>... there's a lot of nice stories from good writers out there, so I tend (or try) not to focus too much on a particular author but more on the books themselves... even 'bad' ones hit a nerve once in a while cough Stephen King cough :P. Anyway, thanks for the quiz :).

Yeah, I was just joking, the poll could go forever and you still probably would miss someone worth being mentioned that you maybe haven't even heard of yet ;>.

If you like fantasy, I highly recommend Robin Hobb, especially the Liveship Trilogy and the ongoing Farseer series. It's a lot of books over 900 pages each but they're page turners, with really interesting characters and an original world, which is rare in fantasy these days.

Heh, I know, right? Such a cool name ;)
Hope you like it. Just be prepared for your spare time to disappear though. It's hard to put them down.

Joe Abercrombie's The First Law is a great fantasy trilogy.

Different but I'm also a sucker for Dresden Files and Alex Verus
