That's pretty doable... except for the Windows Vista part in minimal... who even uses that. XP would work too.

XP won't work because you need D3D10. Same with BF3

Nice to see the bar finally moving up for PC games.

While it obviously means some investment for people, technologically PC games have been held back for years by the current [geriatric] generation of consoles, and their limitations.

I'm still using a 5 year old CPU (albeit one overclocked by over 30%), and it's not yet proving to be a bottleneck in modern games. I welcome the day when it's not enough, and PC games have moved forward sufficiently to merit an upgrade...

Of course, there's a chance that these specs are due to shoddy coding and poor optimisation, but nevertheless, the new Playstation and the 'bone should drag PC games kicking and screaming into the current decade :)
