Props for having gotten the Heroine's Quest: Developer Appreciation Package, even if part of a bundle!
The game itself is very good, in the time-honored tradition of Sierra's Quest for Glory series, and was made available for free by the devs.

Portal 1 & Portal 2, considering the two of them are only €1.22 in bundle it's really nice to finally have those.

Euro Truck Simulator - Beyond the Baltic Sea (was hoping for better sale or at least same as pre-sale, 10% woirse deal but it's part of bday present, so had to buy anyway ;p)

uh i feel I fell from Grace is so underrated. It's so nice and beautiful!

I felt like getting some bigger games, so opted for Hitman 2 and Wolfenstein II. I know Wolfenstein didn't have the best ratings, but honestly some big dumb gun action is what I feel like at the the moment, and BJ is pretty good at that sort of thing. I also added The room 3, because the price was pretty good.
Might still pick up shadow of war, or kingdom come. And I'll probably let the kids pick a game each.
Also got my wife portal 2, so maybe we'll finally get to play a game together again.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the tip. I originally decided against it because I'm pretty sure that of all the options I had on my plate for 'big' game, Kingdom come seemed the most likely to be bundled next. But I also heard about the performance issues and the frustrations with the save game system. So it might be better to wait on it anyway.

Well if I don't start working on them now they will probably forever sit in the backlog of doom :D
Ooooo Islanders looks interesting, mind sharing your thoughts about it with me once you are done with it?
Comment has been collapsed.
Ideally yes, but will it actually happen? Who knows. I have completed 222 games in 2018, so if I keep going at that rate it would only take me like 7 years :P (this year so far I am at about 100 completed).
Well I wanna give every game I have a try and in 2016-2017 I managed to accumulate an absurd amount of games thanks to a combination of SteamGifts and bundles. Thankfully that has now slowed down a lot and I have been able to make a decent dent into that backlog.
Thank you, I will need it :P And same to you, hope you will enjoy those games ^^
Comment has been collapsed.
By "completing" you mean getting 100% achievements, right? Or do you mean only finishing the gameplay?
Also, 100 games completed? I have so much respect for that =D
I've just started playing games again, before that I only used Steam only to play Stardew Valley =D
Also, I just did a little counting and I've got 12 new games this month. 2 from Kinguin, rest from Steam and sales =D
And thanks! =)
Comment has been collapsed.
I mean 100% achievements (if the game has any, all games without achievements get thrown in the completed pile once I beat them). I don't keep track of my "beaten" games so I have no idea about the numbers there except knowing I beat 58 in total over the years.
To be fair quite a few of those were really short, but there is a few longer ones thrown in here and there. Sadly having a full time job doesn't allow me to do more than that.
Stardew Valley is great! Have you played any of those 12 games yet that you would recommend? :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I played Submerged as you know, I'm playing Islanders right now, I've also played Deathgarden: Bloodharvest but that game, unfortunately, is either dead or dying. =D Although if you can get it for cheap or even for free, I would say go for it (but only if you like that type of games obv).
Oh, and I've also finished My Big Sister but w/o 100% achievements. It's a really short game with interesting enough story and pixel graphics. I want to re-play to see if I can get more of the achievements, but it's a lot of story and not much of gameplay, so I'm not sure when I'll do that.
I'll tell you once I get around to playing the rest if you're interested.
Would you recommend me any of the games you've played this year? I'll check on the sales if I think I'll enjoy =)
Comment has been collapsed.
Deathgarden: Bloodharvest looks interesting, but if it is dying rather not :/
My advice would be: just leave it be for a while and if you ever feel the need to 100% or are bored and don't know what to do you can always get back to it :)
I write a couple of sentences about anything I beat on BLAEO, but since there is A LOT of garbage there:
sorry, this turned out to be a wall of text, but I played a lot of games :P and I probably missed quite a few good ones still
Zombie Solitaire 2 Chapter 1, 2 and 3 - Really decent solitaire games if you are into those
The Walking Dead - I am afraid you can't buy that on Steam anymore (might be able to find some keys for it somewhere), but it is a really nice Telltale. I never watched/read anything about The Walking Dead and I still enjoyed it.
Corporate Lifestyle Simulator - this one really surprised me, you get to kill a bunch of zombies in an office with various office weapons (and some not so office ones like guns and a flamethrower).
Mahjong Solitaire - short but OK solitaire game, I can give you a key for it if you would like it.
House Flipper - one of my favourites this year, you get to clean up and restore abandoned/ruined houses.
Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Monuments - OK jigsaw puzzle game
Faerie Solitaire Harvest - really nice solitaire game, one of my favourites as well
Draw Puzzle - I can not for the life of me remember what the style of these puzzles is called at the moment, but it is a nice version of it
The Mean Greens - Plastic Warfare - surprisingly fun FPS, but I am not sure if there is still anyone playing it.
Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions (also the first game) - really nice mosaic game
Paint it Back - if you like picross this is great
Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! - another one of my favourites, but you need to have a good memory and the ability to mash buttons precisely
Over The Hills And Far Away - heartbreaking but amazing visual novel
Euro Truck Simulator 2 - is love and one of the most relaxing games ever if you just put a series/video/movie on your second screen while playing. You must be into simulators tho. Probably one of my favourite games ever.
Killing Floor 2 - fun FPS till you get banned (and unbanned) because someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed one day or something
Pixel Puzzles Ultimate - has an absurd amount of jigsaw puzzles to solve. The downside is the absurd amount of paid DLC it has (and yes, I own them all >.>)
I also linked Samwise some recommendations just bellow this comment.

I might get Fairie Solitaire Harvest. Already have the original one. And for the rest I need to take a look at them.
Already own the 12 Labours of Hercules (1-7) and agree that they are fun. The same for Bejewled 3

I watched someone play it all the away back when it was first released and always wanted to experience it for myself as well (even if I kinda still remember what happens) so I am sure I will like it, thanks :)
Edit: completed it, liked it :3

That is the perk of being off from work for a week and it being waaaaaaay too warm outside to even consider leaving the house I guess :D
Yep agreed, I forgot most of the thing about it SPOILERS if someone else who hasn't played the game is reading that there is a fire, that in the end you get lifted by a chopper and that at some point you enter some fort from a kid. I was even actually quite scared to explore around in the fenced area because I was worried something will show up behind me D:
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh, yeah, that area totally creeped me out. I was on edge the whole time I was exploring it, just waiting for something to happen or someone to sneak up behind me. I actually kept looking behind me as I explored because I was afraid that someone was going to sneak up on me.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ha, interesting! I was the complete opposite. I refused to look behind because of the same exact reason :D Because if I don't turn around they can't jumpscare me right?

It has been the same price in March before, but it has never lower than that indeed.. I haven't played enough of it to say how good it is or if it is worth it, but so far it reminds me a lot of Prison Architect.
Comment has been collapsed.
I should check Prison Architect then too. A not so quick search showed I hadn't bought it.
I have several games still to try; I don't know if buy Sim Airport now or wait. Now it's on EA and perhaps later the price rises.
Or it can get in a bundle, or a meteorite can impact on Earth... who knows!! :)

Payday 2: Ultimate Edition for 3,62€, was missing most DLC. May eventually pick up the second South Park game for 5,39€ (with 10% discount from owning the first one).
Don't feel like spending much more because digital games seem to be devaluing slower than ever before, and I'm subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass for PC for a couple of months.
Comment has been collapsed.
I wanted to buy Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age (even if I was reluctant to get this PS2 game bought Day One 60€ back in the days), and Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. But it will wait : these two games are usually 50% and 75% off, but this time they are only 20% and 25% off. I was okay to spend 30€ for them, but 55€, no thanks.
For now I bought The Room Three, and I'll probably get The Banner Saga Trilogy at the end of the sale.
Perhaps I'll also add something among The Evil Within Season Pass, Cold Fear, Perception, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Magrunned Dark Pulse.

I bought not that much, but that can change:
ChromaGun
GRID Autosport + all DLCs
GRID 2 - Car Unlock Pack
Panzer Doctrine
Rummy 3D Premium
Spacebourne
Surviving Mars - Stellar Dome Set
Ticket to Ride - France
Unforgiving - A Northern Hymn
I'm thinking of buying Pillars of Eternity 2 - Deadfire - Obsidian Edition on Fanatical, but I'm not sure if it's worth buying.

But if anyone has any suggestions for RPG's-please tell them to me-besides Witcher 3 or Fallout 4-have them in my wishlist-not buying them for now

Planescape Torment - one of the best games ever made, with a fantastic story
Baldurs Gate 2 (I always found BG1 boring ever since I was a little kid)
Gothic 1 and Gothic 2 with Night of the Raven (aka the best Gothic game), and Gothic 3 (which has one of if not THE best soundtrack I've heard in a game, I just love that soundtrack so much). Gothic games in order of best to worst: Gothic 2, Gothic1, Gothic 3, Arkania isn't even a gothic game so it's not even worth mentioning), Risen 1, Risen 3, Risen 2 (kinda alright, but the worst of all Pyranha Bytes games). Elex is also alright, but not as awesome as Gothic 1 and 2.
Vampire the Masquerade Redemption - cool story with fantastic voice acting
Pathfinder Kingmaker - enhanced edition just released I believe - in any case, my brother says it's one of his favorite games, especially of last year. He played it a ton, and loved every minute of it. I think he got like 300 hours or something like that.
Divinity Original Sin - alright combat mechanics, shit story
Divinity Original sin 2 - haven't played it, but pretty much more of the same, with combat being better, and story maybe a bit less silly
Neverwinter Nights 1 - had a boring campaign but has some fantastic user made mods that turned out to become full on novels etc. I remember reading that the Aielund saga is a fantastic story... (also I think it has a few great expansions, Hordes of the Underdark and another one...)
Neverwinter NIghts 2 is where it's at. I loved even the campaign.
Neverwinter Nights 2 Mask of the Betrayer - never finished it, but it has a great story from what I know, I gotta play that again,
Neverwinter Nights 2 Storm of Zehir, different but cool. ( I think there is a waterdeep adventure as well but I didn't feel like playing that one)
Vampyr - combat + detective type game, I really liked it
Tyranny - I gotta play it at some point
Ember - I gotta play it at some point
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 - I hope you've played this at some point in your life. I've been listening to the Heroes Orchestra on youtube these past few days whenever I'm studying. Love that shit.
Arcanum of magick and steamworks obscura - apparently awesome but I haven't played it yet
Shadowrun games
Pillars of Eternity 1 - ok game, I liked it but it has it's flaws...
Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire - I've just started playing it.
DEUS: EX games
Ohh STALKER GAMES, FUCKING STALKER GAMES with amazing atmosphere. I've only played Shadow of Chernobyl so far though.
All 3 Metro games. Metro 2033, Last light and Exodus.
Dying Light with The Following - fantastic action, they got David Belle (one of the Yamakasi - the founders of Parkour) to help out on integrating parkour elements into the gameplay - the result is fantastic.
Also, I've yet to play it, but my bro played it before all the patches, and even then said it was an ok game - Wasteland 2. (wasteland 1 was the "original Fallout")
He's currently playing ATOM:RPG and says it's fantastic. (from what I've seen, it looks like Fallout 2)
I could prolly remember more. If you want more elaboration on some of the games, ask here. There is prolly a bunch of other games I cant currently remember. I'm procrastinating and gotta go back to studying haha.

Nothing. Can't get anything. Thanks to my old car dying on me and having to lease a new one, my spending money, what little of it I had, has gone bye bye.
Unless someone will hire me at a job for more than 20-22 hours a week at more than minimum wage. But I don't see that happening any time in the near future. At least not while this sale is on.
Well, guess Tyranny is going to have to wait.... Again.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, a lot but that's the current #1 on my wishlist. I've waited this long, I can wait for the winter sale. Or maybe it will be on an HB monthly.
Remember. Real life things come before buying games and I needed the car to get to work so I can pay for the car. >_<

Sounds pretty much like me and Witcher 3, I waited a long time to get it, then I bought it like last summer on GoG, and decided I wouldn't play it till I read all the books. :D
Since then I've played Witcher 2 the second time, and read all but the last book.
Tyranny does look cool, it's been on my wishlist for some time too.
And yeah I understand the RL stuff. I was just wondering if there was something else you've been really wanting to try out. :)

Well, maybe Kingdom Come Deliverance but once again. that can wait. I do have other games to go through right now anyway.
It is what it is and things happen that are beyond our control.
