A Story About My Uncle is currently free.
Probably means free stamps.
Considering the trouble with bots that happened last time, they did this to ensure everyone that gets the rewards could actually get them.
Teslagrad for 5$ payment when it was 1$ in steam during Black Friday sale. Not today humblebundle.
You are buying a game for that 5$, it's not for Teslagrad.
Not big difference if Teslagrad+5$ game will be cheaper than 5$ during Black Friday.
Steam gives a ~4-5 cent card for each 10$ spent, here you get an extra game with the already discounted game you're buying because you want that game I assume. I don't see people complaining about getting a card, but here you are about a proper, good game. Did you know that sometimes rewards are just rewards, not bank-breaking deals to entice you into buying whatever just to get them? ;)
It work only for USA and othere regions with steamprice highere than basic price. For othere countries Black Friday sale will cheaper than humble winter sale. And difference will be about 1-4$ for evry stamp.
No, only Russia generally, where the price of games on Steam are ridiculously cheap by comparison to any other country.
Check some prices here https://steamdb.info/ and you will wonder how many countries Black Friday in steam cheaper than humble. And no need be so racist.
Also there always is cheaper store than humble check prices here https://isthereanydeal.com
That's not racism at all.
you saw their username, right? ;)
I hadn't noticed, seems appropriate :]
It's not racism, and it was not an attack on your country. It is a fact that games are often waaaaay cheaper in Russia. That's just an observation. Other Russian members say this themselves about the, often massive, price differences.
On the other hand, we Europeans tend to get the rough end of the stick with more expensive prices than USA most of the time. Just the way it is unfortunately. I can't see any Americans getting upset with me for saying that. lol.
So you say it wasn't attack on my country. But cheapest prices isn't for Russia he was able said about extrimely cheap price for about 20 countries not watching dialogue oppnents profile (for Russia extrimely cheap steam price is prices for Turkey - it is 25% cheaper than in Russaia). And all about prices lower than humblebundle right for many countries according to https://steamdb.info/ For example in Canada prices cheap enough to ignore Humble Winter Sale
But he watched profile, he see it is russian and he switch on racism (also in his country prices mixed - some extrimely high like for europeans but Teslagrad cost 0.8$ in Black Friday)
USA is base steam price but other prices ais set according to country currency walue, so it is right that european have higher price becouse Euro cost more than USD
That makes no sense. If something costs 10 US dollars, that is equivalent to 8.70 euro. It shouldn't cost 15 euro, or something crazy. I am not complaining, just stating it as it is. Because the Euro is worth more, the cost in Euro should be less. But of course there are taxes and other crap added on because of where we live.
It does not matter what other countries are cheaper. The fact that Russian players get cheaper prices than their US counterparts is a reality, and there's no point disputing that. If someone else gets cheaper prices than Russia, good luck to them. I am not annoyed by their good fortune.
You are getting upset over something so stupid.
Are you check prices?
10$ game cost 10€ not 15€ - you said nonsense. If prices in euro will be lower that will be unfair to USA comparing american and european wages - cost is totaly fair. If you disagree you always can send your petition to Gabe.
Russian player have cheaper prices not from no reason. If Gabe decided to sell cheaper to Russia that his busines, not your (also becouse of price differences some games not awailable in different regions). If you think that it is unfair to you - you wrong becouse game market and Gabe not care about you.
And of cource saing that Rusian players have extrimely cheap games is racists words becouse there is about 10 regions which have extrimely cheap prices (not only Russia and Russia is not so big part of game market)
No, I wasn't talking nonsense. I have seen items priced $10 in American game store that can cost up to €15 in a Euro version of the game store. Like it or not, these differences happen. Not every store charges in the same way. Humble Bundle is actually pretty good though and doesn't fleece it's Euro customers. They show the exchange rate on bundles. Certain other stores are not so nice.
Your list above is of no consequence to the argument that you are pursuing. Game stores are free to charge people whatever the hell they want. For example, UK clothing stores etc have been getting away with charging Irish customers way more. I saw a jacket in Topshop that cost £70, same jacket cost €110 in Irish version of the store. That is why I sometimes go shopping over the border and pay in Sterling. It's cheaper. Food is the same. There is no law to prevent any company from inflating prices for different markets.
Anyway, I am done arguing with you. The only reason I even mentioned any of this in the first place is that you were living up to your name "Alarmist" and saying people are racist. I don't even care about the price differences lol. I am not going to deny that they are there to make you feel better though.
If the people you were arguing with are white Americans, they are the same race as you are... Caucasian. To call them racist is dumb. Perhaps, Xenophobic, but there was nothing Xenophobic in the discussion of price variations in different parts of the world.
I don't care about prices on jackets in Irland - I arguing about steam prices. If you haven't objections about steam prices than I right but you wrong.
So what especial in name "Alarmist" and coling someone "racists" for racists opinions? Is it local irish meme or some kind of folclore?
And in this dialogue is always 5 neutral nonracist versions of phrase but was chosen racist version. And seein how raging was reaction on "racist" I think that I triggered racists by reasonable indictment in racism.
Now I know you're trolling. Have a nice day :)
Lol. What? You so strange. Now I trust that irish rebels were so crazy like in this cartoon shown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r--VOXYLMK0
i noticed i'm getting a referral link when entering the link you posted,
i advice changing that immediately unless that's steamgifts referral link and i'm mistaken.
Take another look at the link ;)
It's steamgifts' referral link, added automatically unless you change an option found HERE
I usually add a note about that on the bundle threads, since I get a lot of hate because people think that I am using my own referral links - which is completely understandable. This time, I wanted to keep the thread straight to the point and decided against mentioning it, but I think it might be better to do so, to avoid further confusion.
I'm willing to bet you'll still get complaints while having it in bold letters in your main post but it certainly will help in a couple of cases :P
at least, now you need to spend money to get a free game. so the keys don't disappear out of thin air.
Humble still can make summer bug again when stamps can be collected after sale period and humble give duplicated key for stamps.
or no key at all.
They have a redemption deadline (January 31st) though, which doesn't make sense now that they are not free.
It makes sense. From their standpoint as a company that doesn't encourage trading, you should only be claiming said gifts because you intend to redeem them, and it shouldn't take you a month to do so lol. I tend to be in favor of these limited time game code redemptions.
I was simply saying that they will not be grabbed by bots in the first few minutes of the day.
so no free stamps anymore?
i used to visit the humble store and get a free stamp now i need to buy a game to get a reward? im not understanding what's going on
They changed it due to people botting on that and taking games instead of people who actually wanted to play that. Now you have free "A story about my uncle" without any stamps. What they changed also is the date when key is usable to a few days. So bots can't stock up on that particular key and sell it after a year or so for some profit. Personally I love this approach.
i am too .... because i hate the behavior of the bot owners
Yep, it's a fair way of doing it. I had missed out on games that I wanted because the bots got in there before me. I had purchased games in the summer sale, so had they done it this way, I would have gotten my games. Hope they keep doing it this way. :)
82% for The Turing Test seems to be a new historical lowest
same for Life is Strange (82%)
That is because you have additional 10% off monthly subscribers
well, that explains it ;)
Bought ELEX. Claimed Desync for me and Teslagrad for my son. Good deal, I love Pyranha Bytes games!!!
Elex is a fun game. I probably spent 100ish hours in that world. The first ten or so WILL be brutal though, so know that going in. There isn't really scaling (or wasn't when I played) and it's very easy to be underleveled for that first stretch.
I remember my first fight in Gothic. A molerat killed me. :(
You are prepared for what is to come then. :)
The Ni no Kuni II season pass is as inexpensive as I've seen it. Thinking about buying it before the sale ends.
4.99 is not $5, I call BS :( or maybe it's the monthly's 10% off, I can't tell since humble shows local currency. Monthly's payment is still in usd though. Bought something extra for a friend to get to 5 :)
I'm still waiting for Hitman 2 to drop to at least 50% off, maybe by the end of the year or summer, preferably 75% off so I can get the gold version...
I love pizza so much.
I was so confused at seeing 2018-2018 above. Couldn't figure out if it started as an old topic or not. XD
When the year changes, I have a hard time adapting to the new year number. It usually takes me a couple of months to make this transition, so it's most likely that you'll see 2018 again when it should be 2019. When this happens, please poke me! :)
I like to call New Year's Day "Forget-To-Update-The-Year Day" so you aren't the only one! XD Thanks! =3
Agony's 60% off, its historic low, and activating the key also adds Agony UNRATED to your library.
It is becouse of this https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/E5V2M/psa-buy-the-normal-agony-instead-of-agony-unrated
Is it a game worth playing? Have heard that it isn't a very good game. :/
I haven't seen enough to say. I'm stuck in chapter one. I need to find a third heart. If squishing wailing demon infants in a medieval sandwich press sounds appealing, then this might just be the game for you.
Thank you! I think, I'll give the game a try - doesn't sound too bad. :)
i bough dark void, there's NO reglock on it's page
but who knows that it does have a reglock.... dammit
at least i'm using voucher, not paying my own money
What is reglock? Where you able to play Dark Void on Windows 10?
I believe that's region lock.
Ahh. I see. Thanks. No need to worry about that then since I am buying it for myself and there doesn't seem to be any restrictions indicated. .
i cant even redeem it on steam
Tekken 7 Season Pass 2 is 40% off: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/tekken-7-season-pass-2?hmb_source=search_bar
This is the highest discount I've seen on this 2nd pass, and a bit surprising personally, seeing how there's still two characters to come.
No Dead by Daylight DLC sale, so I'll pass :(
I think Into the Breach is on historical low price. €7,83 for subscribers.
I picked up Momodora for €3.59. Not it's lowest price, but... I didn't like the bundle (from Humble) it was in earlier in the year. I would have played none of the other games. Got a couple of other small games, and then Teslagrad as bonus.
Thinking about skipping this month's monthly bundle. None of the reveals really appeal to me.
Just got RE 7 (not the gold edition as I don't think the DLC's are useful) for US $17.54.
And got my Teslagrad too. :P
Desynch, unfortunately, doen't look like something I'd want. Maybe I'll see if someone I know wants it. If not, the I'll make a quick GA for it.
I bought game from top of my wishlist
The Legend of Heroes: Trials in the Sky SC
Now it will be time to save money for part III
How long I have to wait for key? I thought it`s instant delivery.
Click your username and purchases. Should be in this list
Thanks! I`m blind. I was looking in keys section, not purchases.
It's not all that intuitive, to be honest. Works when you figure it out though
Few historical lows.
Bleed 2 -50%, 4,33€
Flipping Death -50%, 8,39€
My Memory of Us -40%, 8,99€
TUROK 2: SEEDS OF EVIL -65%, 6,99€
I did end up buying this.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Season Pass - $10.79 if you are a monthly subscriber.
All time low for Escape Goat 2, also comes with a DRM-Free version.
I was on the fence for a long time, but after this guy's review decided to get Elite Dangerous: Commander Deluxe Edition
