I'm so hyped for this. CD Projekt RED will never let us down. Or use non-customer friendly practices such as microtransactions. Thanks for the info!

isn't easier to post the link instead of copy-pasting everything from reddit? 🤔

Some people may not want to open a new link and want to see the content on SG, while other people desire to see the actual source link. I pick no side and provide the information in both ways.

I like that you can enter buildings as there are not really any open world games I can think of where this is possible.
Fallout maybe, but they aren't that vertical.

Yeah. Curious as how far in-depth the interiors are.

I liked Witcher 3 exp system. Sure, it wasn't the best, but it somehow forced you to balance number of side quests with main quests, and more or less kept you on the right track instead of exposing to everything all at once. In contrast with fully open-world (e.g. Fallout New Vegas), I enjoyed going to fixed locations instead of going everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

You'll choke to death on three pounds of steel!
On a serious note, I never had this problem, as I felt like I was usually underleveled for stuff, so once I reached a level, I did almost all side missions that had the same level. Only had two awkwardly easy encounters in the late game because of this. The difficulty meter increases the challenge though. On the other hand, I was mostly interested in the story, so combat might have taken a backseat in my case.

This all sounds great, and I think will make for a very unique game. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad they've stated it's gonna be dark and grim, and full of sex (as well as the needless-to-say violence) as that's a core part of Dystopian stuff and Cyberpunk stuff IMO. A world full of cold, hard, sophisticated technology and society still crumbling and people even more desperate, animalistic and unchanged despite of it. And knowing CDPR I think I can trust when they talk about choice and consequence in relation to the story :)
I really recommend this video to anyone who wants to know more about both the game and what it's inspired from. It got me SUPER hyped WAY back in 2013. CD seems to really have care for the original creator's ideas.
