Do you approve of a group refresh button?
Even if all my efforts are useless, still gonna push and hope for a response from support. I'm hoping their lack of response means that they are considering it or checking it out. I couldn't find a topic on this from before. Hoping this works out. ;w;

I have a member (ex-member) that became a huge leecher, and what can we do besides waiting to him to sync? While he leaves the group on its own and still joins giveaways has nothing happened while not syncing.. all we can do is tell all the other members on all giveaways to watch out who wins, and ask for a reroll, would like some protection on my own group, and refresh botton would be pretty great, as I wouldn't have to waste a afternoon saying to each member to care, and even then he will probably end up winning some games, so leechers always win?

Yup, but that's not really SG's jurisdiction, so I can understand them not really wanting to do anything about group abuses, but a sync botton that removed the guy from the group and his entries would be pretty great, atleast I wouldn't be afraid of inviting people, and would sleep better at night knowing that if someone goes mad the group's still safe and sound :)

Yes, this is problematic, I had that problem people joining my groups after they were listed in the list of groups I selected.
Had to kick them and turn on private...
At least you have the right here to reroll the winner if someone who isn't member anymore wins.

Lol, this confused me. I bumped yesterday, so when I saw this in my replies I thought it was a reply to that, and then found nothing there. Took me a bit to realize it was a reply to an earlier bump :)

Hello there,
I have a rather annoying problem, in my group, I have 787 members counted by on sg, but on the official group page on steam, there are actually only 599 members. Who are these extra members? People who have been kicked, months ago. I often go through the pages to catch people who are using the group improperly, and when I see multiple people on EVERY PAGE that are inactive, it's annoying. (going through 188 extra members, just to find the inactive ones still in the group.)
So, I thought of a solution that I think would be welcome.
Could there be Group refresh buttons? One for every group, for only the creator of that group to use to force sync everyone's in the groups accounts here on sg, at least once a month. So you could only click the button once a month, (or three months) to clean out the inactive members.
OR give support members the ability to force sync groups via ticket request.
OR have permabanned SG members to have their "groups" reset/zeroed out upon being banned.
If you have any additional ideas, I would love to hear them, or something to add on.
Please consider this. Would make life so much easier.
