[FANATICAL] Mystery Showcase Bundle

Yeah, not at that price... Just doesn't look enticing. I rather take the gamble on per game cheaper mystery bundle.

As always with 'mystery' bundles, high value keys will be in very limited number, whereas low value keys will make up the bulk.
They also don't mention how the odds are weighted, the randomisation could essentially be a pull-list from 1 to 10,000, with only 1 being 'high value', 2-10 being 'mid value', and 11-10,000 being filler or leftovers from other promotions.

They are under no obligation to indicate once all the high value keys are gone, and rely on peoples self-negotiation against buyers remorse to not feel cheated. When getting a game they don't want or have never heard of, they'll go look it up on steam, see the price it sells for when not on sale, and say "huh thats a pretty good deal compared to what I paid" as they cast it to the bottom of their backlog never to be touched. An added bonus if they post their wins elsewhere along with a remark along the lines of "not bad", even if they never wanted / will never play them.

Can you get lucky, moreso if you buy early? Yeah I suppose. But the odds are almost always massively stacked against you.
For those who buy mystery bundles, consider how much you have spent as a ballpark estimate, against the games you have received that you ever actually played. You could save that cash and wait for a sale, then get the title you actually want, y'know?

I mean, its your money, do as you will!
Just remember a gamble is still a gamble, and just like why casinos keep running : there's a reason why mystery bundles are so frequent.
